The bad news is...I have a box of snickerdoodle cookies that are calling my name. All day every day. Must not eat them all in one sitting.

I'm sure, but it's dangerous to shoot bears in this area. Black bears, not so much, but Grizzlies are protected. If it can't be proven that the bear was shot in self-defense, you're looking at a federal prison sentence- especially in the park. Which is why we carry bear spray from mid-spring till early fall... And this guy didn't have any spray on him. Not that it would have helped him if he was mauled, and it wasn't clipped to his belt. And now it's legal to carry guns in the park, so that might have been a good idea in his case.
Casualties resulting from bear attacks are extremely rare, in fact the two this summer were the first in almost seven years. The newspaper said the autopsy results for this guy were "inconclusive." They were unable to tell if he died due to a bear attack or other circumstances (he was 75), yet the rangers have set up several bear traps in this area, which is known for it's high bear traffic. Sounds fishy to me.
It's 78 degrees here and I'm loving it. I cherish the warm weather while wr have it. This last February's average daytime temp was -39. No thank you... Time to move.
You're lucky it's rare! One of my cats has issues with all but a couple brands of cat food - YEESH!!
LOL! A friend of mine has an Airedale that's like that! You can make "the noise" behind her, and she will spin around trying to find the culprit!I had a dog that on the rare occasion that he passed gas would spin around growling, upset that something snuck up behind him.
36, a really good snack when it's hot and icky is frozen grapes! It's a little harder to eat too many, becuase you get brain freeze.
I'm hoping all the furbabies get better soon!

Oh my gosh, I know! My family takes a Christmas trip to Disney World every other year, and when we went in 2009 my little brother and I were eating Dole Whips (pineapple ice cream) around 11pm, thoroughly enjoying the 55 degree weather. This couple walked by and asked, "You folks are from up north, arencha?" Gave us a giggle.
It's already getting down to 30 degrees here at night. During the week when I get up at 7:30, it's like 36. >.< Tired of it.
Back from shopping and liked my way back in. LOL. Now back to work with me! I'll be here, just catching up on orders at the same time.

Those tips are really pretty. I have so far managed to not be a drip tip nut, but these are kinda wearing me down!
