Hubbie thought it would be funny to see me shoot the 12 gauge with some pretty powerful ammo. He also video taped it so he could laugh again later. Undoubtedly the guy shooting next to us got a kick out of it too.

My ex did that to me with a 54 caliber black powder rifle. I think he said he doubled a normal load. It bruised my shoulder a little, but I was also rather pregnant (maybe 7 months). I think that's why my oldest is a bit odd.

OK, before anyone calls for rescue - I have to be in work at 3 am tomorrow, so I'll be going to bed really early. And if things work out, next week I'll be heading to West Virginia with my friend from FL. I haven't heard back from her yet, so I'm not sure what's up.

I haven't shot a gun since I was young. I think my dad decided it wasn't a girls sport! However, I do very well with a bow & get a lot of looks because I'm left handed. I don't own a bow, but I enjoy them when given a chance.

Technically that's still birdshot so he wasn't entirely lying to ya. Still worth a punch in the arm though.

Three inch magnum 12 gauge buckshot loads are the best home defense rounds, ever. You run five of those at somebody and he aint got a chance. I keep a Mossy 930 semi-auto with extended tube loaded with that by my bed, it will SHRED like a blender.

Tiff, you handled that mag load very well! I've seen men not take it nearly that well.

Ok, I have GOT to quit buying stuff!!! I just bought a pink ovale v8. I couldn't pass it up cause they only had 2 pink left and he said he probably wouldn't have them long. So see, I didn't have a choice.

I WILL NOT buy anything else, I will not buy anything else, I will not buy anything else....at least until next week when I get paid again. I really need to get my stuff I have to get rid of onto ebay so I'll have some "secret" money. Hmmmm....

I almost bought a Lava Tube today, but couldn't bring myself to spend the $$$. I would like something else I can put a tank on, having one tank on the ProVari is fine, but I could use two tanks! All I see spending money on in the foreseeable future are new school clothes, notes books & such for AJ. The daughter is more spendy, rent, tuition & dues for the Alpha Alpha Beta Beta world. She takes care of her books - and thank goodness this is her last semester! I hope AJ gets a full ride somewhere He needs a perfect SAT score, already bought him the book to study
