I remember getting into HEATED ummmm, debates over conventional flow vs. electron flow, and worse. I don't want to blow any fuses in this thread though. :)
Honestly, since no one I know uses hole flow to explain anything, its become one of those theories I know exist and that I used to understand, but the details of it are LONG gone.

I'm in the same boat. I remember waaaaaaaay back when I had to SUFFER through actual drafting classes, with paper, pencils, and rulers to the 1/64th of an inch. I asked why we had to suffer though that before moving onto CAD and other typical mainstream tools, and I was told by my professor(s) ................ "Because".

I am glad that we WERE able to use calculators on day one, and NOT abacuses. My brain prefers to design, troubleshoot, and view circuits conventionally.

What exactly does it mean when you get your hair cut & come home & hubby says "oh, you got your hair cut. It looks...(insert long pause here)....nice?"? I got it cut in the same style I've had for the past 4 months. Did he just now notice?

Sent from my HTC EVO on Taptalk.

He noticed before. He was just too afraid or too kind to say anything.

    But I could be wrong....

It means he was USING that long pause to build tension, anticipation, and therefore allowing for greater resolution.

Well please don't think me a PIE hater, I'm not, actually the thing I DO hate, is I haven't TRIED the PIE yet.

All any honest juice maker (or witch doctor) could ever ask of any client, is honest feedback. Godspeed to your first CC package. May it arrive ahead of schedule.

I miss troubleshooting and actually FIXING equipment.... But I have a job, and for that, I am thankful. Even if it does involve moving over 12000 pounds of batteries

Roger that !!! I'm not doing any neato black box work, and seldom see much troubleshooting beyond tossing parts, installing new, and praying it works.

Ahhhhh, you have peaked mah curious-ness regarding parallel circuits and DC cartos. Sadly (and ironically), I have no clue how they work and/or are wired. Two coils in series ?? Parallel (I'm guessing from your mention). I've actually struggled to explain parallel resistance to some co-workers. Well I should say THEY struggled to comprehend it.
