when I was on the road in my big truck ride along days
we got caught in a tornado in upstate NY...very scary...
then afterwards there were big wind/rain storms for about
12 hours....was glad to get out of there..

I feel like the only one who didn't ride the big rigs! Well, I used to work in a diesel truck dealership, worked with truckers, fixed the bills to be under warranty as much as possible! Maybe that's my 6 degrees...
And my grandpa was a long haul trucker.

Never too late to ride the big rig., though these days it isn't near as much fun as it used to be. Too much regulation, too much government involved in everything you do. I am surprised the DOT doesn't have camera's in the cab watching me, cause they have everything but that right now.

Gonna be a busy day, still trying to find a load. The damn hurricane is screwing things up, nobody on this coast wants to ship right now.

I hear that. The two back to back loads that hubby is running out to the east coast is pumps. At least they didn't wait until After the storm to try to get them. That's what they usually do!
You may be sitting until Monday, though there are two boxes in KY that need to get up to WI....

I wish I could go to Vegas Vapefest. I was looking at pricing though. The hotel isn't so bad...but I can't afford to drop 400+ on a flight over there.
