Sounds good. The only healing plant (other than about a dozen of the high air-filtering types) I have is a giant Aloe Vera that started out as a 1" sprout from home depot. It kinda went into hyper grow from my intense neglect.

I got so much "house work" done on my day off!! LOL Though tomorrow I am pretty sure I have just as much to do. I think I am ready to go back to work now ... I work much less there! ;-)
Hi KT! I vacuumed and called it good. Good enough today, LOL. After my lovely green mess of yesterday it was all I could muster.
You have to do that every now and then. Just have a day that you lounge around. I did some serious swing sitting out by the pond this morning with my coffee. Even made the boys stay in the house while I sat there. It was nice.
I am doing pretty well with my little herb garden this year **patting myself on the back** I am adding catnip in this spring. I started with the easy stuff to test out my ability, and am ready for more I think. I had to keep my Golden (Miss Mellow) from eating it all ... but after that it was smooth sailing! LOL We buy catnip all the time for our cat (Marsy) and he loves it, so it should be fun.
True, doing nothing much is important. I have gotten fairly proficient at it here lately.

Very cool KT! Catnip has the opposite effect on people and dogs. It is calming to them. Catnip tea is very relaxing. And I should be feeding it to Victor by the bucket...
I had issues with Catnip. It grew like mad for me, but if it was inside it smelled like $#^% and Sam kept jumping on it and rolling- dirt everywhere and when I put it on the deck, whiteflies attacked!
SD, it is. I have a log swing next to the pond. And have been known to be found there napping.

Hmmm .. it will be outside, but I will have to read more about the whiteflies. I have mint growing now, and I think that is supposed to repel some bugs?? I am completely new to the herb garden, but found it pretty enjoyable this year so I will definitely try again next year. I think I only have another month or so before the frost takes over anyway, so I am not sure how well they will do outside in the winter. I was told they will grow back next Spring, but will have to wait and see.
Now if I could just find a plant that repels deer I would be set. They eat everything here, absolutely everything.

I don't have deer ... just the Mellow dog! LOL She didn't like the mint, but kept eating the Basil?? I had to put a netting over it so she would quit eating it. Silly girl loves her veggies.

I had never seen whiteflies before- I grew catnip in the mountains, no problem. You may never see them, KT. I was growing alot on the deck- tomatoes, peppers, basil, ect. Any of them could have be the cause. But once I got them, they destroyed everything. Didn't even plant this year. Wasn't in the mood to deal with that again!
Aren't Rosemary and Lavender plants supposed to repel deer?
