Thanks SD. Very good tips. Still tossing. I don't feel up to atty cleaning today, although I suppose I could set it aside. I cleaned it in vodka over night and gave it a good rinsing before letting it dry.

and just found it....happy dance again....

Sallie it sounds like your atty hasn't soaked up enough juice..
306's w/o primer tend to take a while to wick juice..you need to set
it in a carto condom and put a lot of juice on it...let in sit 15-30min
then drip a few more drops...then fire...do this after cleaning them too..

I've found that 306's like a lot more juice than 510's. Where I'd normally drip about 3 drops in a 510, I'd drip 4-5 drops in a 306 without flooding it, and just drip 2-3 more when the flavor drops off.
