100% agreement. I could not believe it when they started giving every kid a trophy. For showing up. So much for the kid that excelled getting the kudos that he deserved. The kid that gave no effort got the same thing. grrrrrrrr.

I used to give the docs a hard time when I was in the Navy. They used these outdated height/weight charts that said I was overweight. You've seen my pic in my avi, I'm 5'8" and about 140lbs. They totally ignored bone structure! If I lost the 20lbs their charts said I should, I'd look anorexic!Chips, hats off to you for the weight loss, that's amazing! And the doc charts are unrealistic. I've starved myself down to what the chart says I should weigh, but then I look like a Q-tip with eyes and dreadlocks. Kinda like my avi. And I can't maintain it. I refuse to suffer, and round is a lovely shape.
Well said...these same kids that grew up with the "for fun" and " don't hurt my feelings" mentality are now having
problems making it in the job market ...20/20 or one of them did a story on it. They think they should make the
same as someone who has worked there 30 yrs..
trophies don't mean anything anymore except you showed
up to get it..
my grandson knew who won...but it really upset me when he askedAsk the kids who won - they know.

My nephew called his trophy an insult. He won, but the loser got the same thing. And he was right, it was insulting. He worked really hard to win... will he try as hard next time?

Really bummed that my taste buds have been non existent for three days. Hope they come back soon cause I just got a stardust and would really like to know how they truly work. I cant taste anything but I like the draw on it. Hope everyone had a nice holiday and that FV didn't work on Sunday.
