I should also add that Maynard loves it. He sits so nice to be brushed and doesn't seem to want me to stop.
Because you are. I sweep every day and swear I could build another dog from it. They should be bald by now. All their hair is on the floors.

You should see Ian's Lab! He absolutely hates walking on bare floors! It was so funny when they were staying at DIL's parents' house, he would stand on a throw rug and cry!We have hardwood everywhere the dogs don't go regularly. We do have carpeting upstairs, but the dogs are rarely there. We've also got some tile and there is vinyl in the kitchen and mudroom. We were trying to make it a dog friendly house. Now I'm wondering if we wouldn't be better off with all hardwood with area rugs. Tile isn't a great choice for us. Our dogs can barely walk on the dry tile. I can only imagine the circus that would ensue during the winter when most of the floors have wet paw prints on them every time the dogs come inside. Grimm kinds splays out his feet and walks like a 100 year old man when he has to walk on the tile.![]()

If I stay up on brushing Maynard it gets better. Have you heard of those Shed Monster pet brushes? They actually are a miraculous product. Don't judge me for buying As Seen on TV Stuff lol.
I love Maynard. Can I have him?
Going to google this.We have hair 24/7-365.
No, he's a keeper. Want a crotchety small dog? I got one of those too...

Same here.
Grimm just lays down and rolls over. I love this dog.

LOL! Good one Bamrz!
Bliss, you need to make a second Maynard out of that. Holy cow.
Sallie, dogs trying to take off fast on tile is hilarious. Mine run in place.![]()
