Good Morning Janie!

How long has it been since you have seen your daughter? The crispy one....

One more flavoring for the cheesecake just arrived. One to go.... It's killing me, patience is not my strong suit.
TELL ME ABOUT IT!!!! Ive been stalking the site for two days hoping that it would be up and you just forgot to tell us. :D

Can't like that either James, I feel so bad for your little guy. :(
Me too. But hes too laid back to let it bother him. He even asks to put on his dinosaur [his breathing mask looks like a triceretops head] right after breakfast and dinner.

Yep. That settles it. Mrs E is never allowed to plan a vacation again. She got the dates changed. But the 4 days 3 nights turned into 3 days 2 nights. We will leave from the beach on a Tuesday. First day of school is Wednesday....

But the guy did knock another $150 off the price. Im gonna take that $150 and go down there with the kids a day early. Let Mrs E bring the dogs and the puppies. I mean her parents and the puppies. :D Shhh. Dont tell her I said that!!! I wonder what her reaction would be if I told her I wanted to take the kids down there a day early.... hm...

You might be shot when you enter the house Sunday night after the race. ;)

If she is anything like my wife she is already annoyed and irritated that the two of you misunderstood and she probably blames herself for the wrong dates... aggravating that topic may not be a good idea for the next few days as I suspect you know! ;)

We haven't seen her since Christmas!!!! We moved when she was 19, I felt like someone tore a piece of my heart out.

James, at least she got another 150. off the price and you'll have some precious family time.

G'Mornin' Janie.

I hope they pan out too. Last I heard she was about to call the guy. I havent heard back from her yet.

I dont know what you saw about my son, but he has croup. It got really bad this last time, then becuase hes had an oral steroid three times already this year, he couldnt take it again. Right now, the breathing treatments are doing their job, but they are going to try to find ou whats causing it. I hope.

I've only read about the croup. I feel for you. My daughter started coughing at age 2, finally around 2nd grade they diagnosed her with cough variant asthma - it sounds just like croup. She is 21 now and the steroids are the only thing that help. The nebulizer would sometimes help, an inhaler would sometimes help - but they always end up putting her on prednisone. As I stated earlier, my son still gets croup at 16 - the doctor said its unusual, but thankfully its not as frequent anymore. My daughter also has really bad allergies, just a small runny nose can set off a 3 - 7 day asthma cough.

Only liked that because you get to see her soon. When my son first moved out I was fine, until he was gone. Then I was a terrible cry baby for days. Just don't tell him that. I'm glad we are only 1 1/2 hour apart now, but when I move south I am sure I will be a mess all over again. No matter how old they get, you never stop being their Mom.

You kiddin' me? Im going to aggrivate her with it ever chance I get! Call her a doomas every so often. Then ignore her when she asks me to do something. Or just do exactly what she said dont do, then she says "why are you doing that?" And I can say, Oh, I was just doing like you did when you planned our vacation.

Sounds like our house. Interspersed with "you're an idiot" here and there, just for good measure.

You're a braver (or something) man than me James!

Seriously though... I know I would end up dropping it, because then the next time I screw up I could point out how I let her mistake slide and watch her get even more upset when I say that!

Tell Voo I hope she feels better...poor thing.

Its quiet here, Facebook is quiet too...long weekend has started already!

Off to finish cleaning - just spent waaaaaaaaaaaay to much time in my sons bathroom (tub/toilet area - they have a Jack & Jill style bathroom). He is suppose to clean it once a week! The tub alone took 1/2 hour at least, worst of all, I had to use some bleach! I guess I need to re-train him...sigh. Tomorrow he will be in his main bathroom (sink/counter) and I'm going to stand over him, with car keys dangling over his head, until it sparkles. DDs room/bath are ready for her arrival.

*giggling* about the car keys. I've been there. Mine was skipping school, bad grades, just being a 15 yr old pita. I bought a '69 Cutlass 442 and parked it in the driveway. If he brought his grades back up to A's, and started being a nice guy, it was his car. He did it. It was torture for him until report cards so that he could prove it, but it did work. Bribery is an amazing thing.

"So who were you on the phone with?"

"My mom called. She said her (the Camaro) water pump was leaking. Her mechanic didnt want to touch the aftermarket pump without talking to who ever changed it over from mechanical (insert 'me'). So I called the mechanic to talk to him about it."

"So did you talk to the mechanic? What did you talk to him about?"

..... Im just going to stop talking to her. Im going to end up saying something Im going to regret.....

Not me. I needle it in every chance I get.
