I wish that were true...seriously, my mom is one of "those people". I adore her and she is very good to me, just to be clear, but the woman is a nut job. She didn't used to be but gradually over the years, something happened to the dear woman.

I am going to show you something, my mother's house. My stepfather built the place, we call it "The Dirt", because it started out as a pile of dirt. But anyway, Michael (SD) builds custom homes for a living and he built The Dirt with the sole intention of selling it and then building a more modest home for he and my mom. It's back up for sale, but the way it appears inside is exactly how clean it is all the time. Not just for photos. When we go visit we are always on edge because we want to make sure we don't make a mess anywhere.

Now, tell me to put the rag down...:facepalm:

Michael is an incredible home builder. That house all kinds of bells and whistles. I wish you could see the master shower. It has 7 heads. It's amazing. If you look at the soaking tub picture you can see the water falling in to it from the ceiling. It's cool to see. There are all kinds of neat things, however, you can't really relax in it. It feels like a showplace. They've lived in it for 6 years lol.

I can't complain. I woke up so it's a good day. :) I have NO motivation though. ugh. Two days of cold and damp in a row again. Where the heck is summer? Send some of that Texas heat up here please. I'll send you the rain.

I would certainly make that trade right now... it is 95 here today... and I am afraid most of our rain is done until October. :(

We still have not recovered here in Central Texas from the second worst drought in our records last year (although northern and north east Texas has, the other 3 regions of Texas have not).

What a beautiful house. It needs a Victor. That would take care of that spotless problem she seems to have. He does wash windows.....

Believe it or not, they have 2 dogs. A yellow lab named Titan and a Golden retriever, my sister from a four legged mister, Shadow.
I think the dogs are even scared to make mess. I am convinced they clean up after themselves

Totally agree with you, I'd trade weather any day, but I'm use to WI/MN weather. We are like Texas, in a drought and its hot! Thankfully it is only 2 hours to the ocean (just north of San Francisco) and the weather there is always cool :)

Good morning everyone.

Last night, I woke up to a very painful toe. When I woke up this morning, I could hardly walk and it was all swollen and nasty lookin'. For the first time in two years, I went to the doctor (Urgent Care). I wont go into details to spare FV's thread, so I will say it hurts like heck and I now have some meds. If it doesnt get better by next week, I will need a minor yet painful surgery which would take me out of work for a week.

Morning James, I am sorry to hear that. I hope it gets better soon, and that you do not need surgery!

I'm insanely jealous... that is one of the nicest homes I have ever seen.... might change the paint colors outside... but a lovely home. I doubt I would ever make enough to afford that! ;)

P.S. What do I have to do to get my wife to help keep our house clean like that every day? buy her a house like that one?

I think they need to host the first annual Posse Retreat. Along with kids and pets. That house is just tooooo clean.
Oh that would work a little TOO well. Everyone's multiples of dogs, cats, and kids?!?!

No, a house like that means there is just more room for more dirt, dust, and dog hair.
