mini break time. Hi everyone. *waves* I got the smallest one to drink before I left. Rather unconventional, if you stand her in the water she looks down, then her beak gets wet. And she drinks. I'll go check on her shortly, and if she doesn't look good she's coming back to work with me where I can watch her.

Mad dash home and back. All four peeps are doing fine. Of course we did take pics of Stretchy. Here she is!
I was going to say something about chicken nuggets for dinner... but I'll behave. 
You wouldn't even get a nugget from one of these. They weigh right next to nothing. I'm just glad they are all doing well.

Mr. V wants to know if you want to go RAcoon hunting this weekend. Last night the camera caught 3 in the chicken pen and one outside. It was too fat to fit through the hole they dug.
All were too close to the chicks to take a shot. Tonight, marshmallows....

I'd love too! Just don't tell my daughter. She guilted me into not killing the ones that were keeping me up every night. At least they started coming earlier, sigh.

Thanks, that would be easier on Jake, he's scared of loud noises. He hides under the pool table and shakes during fireworks and thunderstorms. Shooting really freaks him out. Poor old guy.

For all you genesis style atty users who are having issues with popping coils, and hot spots. This is a video of Scott aka igetcha69 on YouTube wrapping cigarette paper around the oxidized portion of your wick before putting the coil on, creating a carbon layer underneath the coil... watch it! It works wonders!
