I would have thought so but it's been too many things now.Everyone can have a good day except Mr.Crabbypants. This is not him. He's flying to Mo. to pick up a puppy on Friday..that in itself sent up warning lights...I'm not complaining. I don't think I'll speak of it again lest I break the spell.See I used another archaic word. No one uses lest anymore.

awwww You know in a few weeks he is going to go back to normal mr crabbypants.

Don't ya just hate when that happens??

Went and borrowed trailer and mower after work since mine is kaput. Got about 1/3 of the from yard done when Haley gets brought home from friends with a headache. She walked inside and puked in the hallway on the way to bathroom. Wife is gone. So now I'm sitting inside witha sick kid and a partially cut yard. Losing daylight.

I wouldn't wish a migraine on anyone. Been there done that. Now that I am old I no longer get them like I used to so I am grateful..Not for being old.I could have done without that but a reduction in migraines is always nice.

thanks, unfortunately she inherited my migraines.

I'd like to thank you personally for fretting. It was worth the fret. Isn't she gorgeous?

Not liking that either. Mr. V has given up his Friday fish fry tonight. He is sitting on the deck watching his marshmallows. Good man.

Pooped. Going to bed early. All that fretting over Stretchychicken has me tired out.

I'd do both.
Your kids will say that some day too Janie!

He's persistent and patient. He'll win.

Nope, Stretchychicken is sleeping under her heat lamp. She's snuggled in with her sisters for the night.

And I am going to hang out with Victor for awhile, he's been staring at those marshmallows through the patio door. Time to distract him. Or get him one of his own...

Later!

Nooooooooooooooooo Not my Stretchy.I hope Mr. FV plugs them all tonight.

Fv a little scarey info.
Yes, raccoons are omnivores and will kill and eat birds of all kinds. Chickens trapped in a coop are easy prey for a raccoon at night and they will make all attempts to get into them.

Read more: Do raccoons kill chickens
How Do I Know It Was a Raccoon?
Raccoons normally go for the head and neck area of a bird. Often, you will find the head of a bird a distance away. The crop (grit-filled place for grinding food at the base of the neck, at the front) may be torn open, along with the breast, and the entrails eaten. Sometimes, they will pull a head or leg through the wire of a cage and leave the body on the other side. Normally, multiple birds will be killed in one attack.

I don't know about where you live Paul, but there are not any roads around here where I would want to be going that speed on a bike!!! There are few roads around here where I would ever consider going that speed in a car!

In fact, I do not believe I have hit that since returning from Germany. ;)

Good Morning Posse!

Yes, I woke up early this morning so I could drag myself across Victors sleeping body. And flop around the bed to be annoying. It was fun. Mr. V sleeps through everything.

Ran out to the pole building to check on Stretchy, she scared me half to death. She was all flat and laying funny, one leg out, one wing, her neck all weird.... She hopped right up and looked at me, just sleeping like road kill. All is well in chicken land. I don't see any dead racoons out there, have to wait for Mr. V to wake up and find out what happened.

Thanks for the info Drott, I was afraid of that. Everyone is alive and well this morning. *thankful*

Now to wake everyone up. bwahahahaha!
