Forecast for today says 101 with a heat index of 109. When I left work at 530 yesterday my truck said 107. My wifes brilliant plan for this weekend is to go TENT camping at dauphin island. :facepam:

Im not liking that...If it were me:
You go to the beach now because Im going and you dont have a choice. ...... on a sibling is one of life's true great funs. I dont care if youre tired or not, Im not leaving. You either eat the bologna I brought, or you dont eat. You dont get to go back in the water because you didnt listen to me last time when I said dont swim in the shipping lanes, now let me finish putting my sunblock on.
I love the beach. Thankfully, our first attempt at a family vacation went well enough for me to see that the kids love the beach too.
I have kids like that. But they are usually screeching because I just slapped them upside the head for not behaving. When I see parents ignoring kids like that (like the one I saw a few weeks ago letting their daughter WALK ON THE TABLE), I dont want to whoop the kids. It would be more effective to beat the hell out of the parents.
82 today, 56 tonight. But its going to be about 102 by Saturday. Hey, lets have a double birthday party AND a cookout on the hottest day of the year so far! THAT sounds like FUN!!!!
At least the food will be good....
And THAT is why I will never move any farther south than I am right now. Unless its to my own private Carribean island. That reminds me, I need to buy a lottery ticket this week....I know the feeling JD...

Most of us were probably making up for our lowered efficiency on Monday... and I just found out today that I have 3 days of training (all day) for the rest of the week on Team Foundation Server... better known to me as That Freaking (insert your own adjective here) Software!!! *sighs*
P.S. How is Bliss going to learn about today's special on Cool Aid if she is at work?

On the bright side, I now have a sampler pack of CC juices to take with me to our vapor group's monthly meetups so that other vapors get to see what your juices taste like! It includes presteeped House blend too from December James!
