Yuck, then Ohio is also smelly. Speaking of smelly, I need to go clean chicken pens and take a pic of lil Stretchy. Back in a bit.
Ohio is a mess. Mr.????? has worked almost 80 hours since last Friday. There are like 300,00 people still without power. No water,No air conditioning and it's 96 out in Central Ohio. It's bad. I was in the bank when the chimney slid off the building across the street and took the tile roof with it.

A nice little nap felt good. Its still only 4 ish here, dinner is still an hour at least away and fireworks are 4 or so away.

Stretch, sorry about Ohio, I heard there have been nasty storms all over the country.

I shut the house up after all the little children in back (neighbors house) starting chanting beer, beer, beer, beer.......All the houses here are so packed together you can hear a pin drop! I can't even imagine my children chanting that at the age these kids are.

I only spent $50 on fireworks, neighbor across the street usually buys around $500 - but they cut back this year. We light them off in the cul-de-sac away from anything that can catch fire - way to dry here to risk fire!

It's time for the lil Stretchy show!

Sorry, had to put her in a chick box to keep her from dashing away. She's spunky.

I must admit there was a time in my life (many moons ago) where the chanting of the four letter word did occur at parties I attended... and I suspect it happens far more frequently than you may know at guy parties! ;)

It has been dry here as well, but there are still some areas of the subdivision under construction where the road is made but no foundations are poured yet. That is where we go for our fireworks, although the specific spot changes each time as more houses are made.

It sounds as if you too plan to celebrate our country's independence with some whistles sparks and bangs!

Ive lost count of how many times I thought today was Saturday. Twice, I found myself wondering why the race wasnt on.

We shot off about $150 of fireworks from the $250 total we had from Saturday. No lost appendages or burns, so it was a pretty good evening. Even let the kids do sparklers and roman candles. Naturally I got yelled at for letting them hold "those things". But its ok. Mrs E still doesnt completely have her voice back. :D

Now its time for a shower and bed. Im sure I smell like chlorine from the pool, grill from dinner, smoke from fireworks, bug repellant, and just funk from being sweaty for the last two hours. Bleh.

Have a goodnight everyone!!!
