I only liked that because I feel the pain. We had Mastiffs. Angel killed off a gorilla tough crate in one afternoon, then ate the back door so she go out. I had the nerve to leave her behind while I went to the dentist. Angel. Boy, did I name that one wrong....

I love giant breed dogs. They are so goofy and usually gentle giants. They can be quite destructive when they try though.

I agree on all counts. While I do miss having a giant, it's nice to have dogs that are a smaller size like the Boxers. And I get to sleep in the bed now. With the giants, forget it.

I have a king size bed and he sleeps with me when hubby isn't home. He's very protective. I like that since I'm home by myself with the kids so much. I take him to the door with me when someone knocks if I don't know them. They usually jump back about 7 feet when they see him. Some have even forgot what they wanted, lol. Between him and my .38 I feel pretty safe by myself.

Good news that he's hungry, I am hopeful that means he is feeling pretty good. Considering.

Night James!

I had to postpone shopping. The runt peep is not doing well. Needed to stay home and play chicken nurse. *fingers crossed for her*

I'm sorry to hear that FV... Have fun James... Remember that you ARE supposed to get some rest before work tomorrow! ;)

Goodness, the boy can eat a lot. They told us not to feed him much so he wouldn't get sick. When we got home he had two pieces of toast. An hour later pasta w/butter and applesauce, then a banana, an ego waffle and most recently a bowl of cereal! He finally gave in and took a pain pill, I told him to stay ahead of the pain, yet he waits until its a 5 and will only take one (which is smart to see how it works). I hope the night owls are in tonight - it may be a long night for me, pain meds only last 4 hours.

It was 106.4 when we got home. Tomorrow is predicted to be 110 - thank goodness I'll be in the house all day. Well except in the morning. Our neighbors went on vacation for two weeks and asked our son to take out their garbage and hand water their yard, he told them he was having surgery & the dad said "do it with your other arm. Sigh....hubby did their garbage tonight and I'll be over early to water in the mornings. Their sprinkler system is broken so it has to be hand watered.

Yep, I could keep typing...its keeping me awake!

He must be feeling alright if he's strapping on the feed bag like that.:) Good for him. That's what the pills are for, use 'em! I used to try and be a tough guy with pain. I've had so many probs in the past few years with surgeries and the like, now I'm all about "juice me up, Doc!".

Reason: snuggle time. LOL
Oh sure, yuk it up Chuckles. The problem with "snuggle time" is that it really is what it sounds like. She curls up against me and falls asleep, leaving the remote JUST out of my reach with some garbage on the tv. Then within a few minutes either an arm, hand, or leg starts to fall asleep. Then you realize you shouldve pee'd before you got in the bed. Oh wait, there's an itch that is only accessable with the arm that is currently numb from shoulder to finger tip with an undisclosable amount of weight asleep on it...

Yep, still not what you think. See above.

I used to do the same thing until I herniated a disc in my lower back. Naturally, Mrs E gives me hell for it. "You're in pain? Psh. Try carrying around a bowling ball hanging off your gut for 9 months, then squeeze it through a garden hose. THEN talk to me about pain". I love my completely understanding wife.

Ungh. No envy for you there, Drott. But try to have a good day. And dont squish any compact cars!
