Mmmmmm Chinese...We had that last night.

Afternoon folks! I got to wake up and hit the ground running this morning. That part that I stayed up until 1am for...? Yeah, they ended up not being able to use it because they didnt know what software version it had. A mismatch of software on those cards will cause a that system to go completely offline. In this case, it would drop a few hundred customers and several circuits in the terabyte range.

Then I went Lowes and got my washing machine. It should be delivered tomorrow morning. Over $700 between the machine and the service plan. Thank goodness for credit cards. And thats after the 10% discount on major appliances, 10% discount for former military, plus another 5% because the only one they had left was a scratched floor model. And it wasnt even an expensive machine...

Then Mrs E called. "You still at Lowe's?" "Yes...?" "Can ya do ya wanna pretty please with a cherry on top bring me some chinese from the place across the street?" How could I say no to that? So I took lunch to Mrs E at work.


I miss my pool table. And THATS a problem!

I use the one on NOAA. It's usually really accurate.

Have you read Game of Thrones series yet? I'm on the 3rd book (I think??) and it's really good! I normally read all sci fi, horror and that sort of thing, but this one's keeping me interested!



Hmm, Chinese sounds good! And tell Mrs. E that I'll be challenging you to a game of pool whenever I can work out a visit! That's something I learned really well when I was in the Navy.

Occasionally, but I am more into either swords and sorcery, or space. I probably have a few thousand books in those genres in bookshelves around the house!

First you need to convince her to clean up her mess and put her crap where it belongs. Maybe she would listen to woman, because she sure ignores the heck outta me!

And I never said I was good at it. I love playing though. I can hit some crazy bank shots, but do you think I could sink anything with a straight and easy shot? Nope.

I love Chinese. I had an exgirlfriend that hated it, but loved Japanese. Today's selection was sweet and sour chicken, fried rice and an egg roll for the missus, and General Tso's chicken with fried rice and an egg roll for me. So good. And for under $6, it makes two meals worth!

I am so lucky to have a really good Chinese takeout place right behind my house. But I'm feeling way too lazy to change out of the jammie pants I put on when I got home from work - ack!!!

That sounds wonderful.We had a really nice sit down Chinese place.It had been here for 23 years and it just closed one day and that was it. I miss it. We have a buffet but it's not as good.That's where we went last night. Right now I'm defrosting a cardboard pizza

Pack rat doesnt bother me. Her just leaving her crap wherever she finishes using it bothers me. Im a pack rat. But Im also slightly OCD. Everything goes where it belongs. I cant stand going to look for something only to find its not where I put it. If I dont put it where it belongs, I forget where it is.

Lazy and vacation go hand in hand. You cant have a real vacation and not be lazy.

Buffet is never as good as carry out or sit down. But you wont see me turn it down!!!

Im thinking about frozen pizza for dinner. Its either that, or I make Mrs E cook when she gets home.

Oh, so check this out... After paying for the new washing machine, the numbers just didnt pan out in my head right. I felt like something was wrong.... So I broke out an abacus and a slide rule. And I figured out that I may have been charged nearly $85 more than I shouldve been. As soon as the wife gets home, Im gonna have to head back up to Lowes...
