What's the special carto tool??
Happy B DAY !!!!!!

You are wise.....

:toast:

I will have to think on this. Because I bought the special carto tool from CC, I've been having ZERO issues refilling. Pop off the d.tip, insert the tool, slide the Phiniac up to about even with the top of the tool, fill to almost the top of the tank, then slide the tank back down. I don't think I'm pressurizing any juice into the carto as I never take the tool out until done, and I never take the caps off. Will have to think on this.

I can go almost a week on one.I must have fantastic cartos.I usually change them out every 3 to keep the juice and draw good...but in a pinch I could go 5. Ive done it before.
From Boge:

3) We think the way of filling e-liquid into the cartos is crucial for their performance. For prefilled cartos, we use an injector to fill e-liquid deep inside the cartos twice. Each time the e-liquid is distributed evenly in three different places. In this case we can make sure that the heating coil is fully infiltrated before the users inhale. This is why our prefilled cartos perform so well so far. For blank ones, we are not able to control the users' way of filling. An user can get the burnt taste easily if the heating coil is not fully infiltrated. Please fill in the e-liquid correctly to ensure that all units work well.

4) VG e-liquid is thicker than PG one. It takes more time (maybe 5-10 minutes) for VG e-liquid to go through the fiber filler and reach the heating coil. We don’t know how our blank cartos work with other brand of e-liquid. We only know that Boge cartomizers, filled with Dekang e-liquid, are gold standard in the electronic cigarette industry.

5) Some users put our blank cartos into clear tank (like the so called DCT or F16) and find that they don't work well. This is quite understandable as our cartos are not designed to be used in the clear tank. Our cartos are intended to be used with 3.7v batteries only. It’s not recommended to use our cartos with other devices.

They go on to point out that their cartos are a disposable item, intended for one use only. Carto's were designed way before the tanks.

While it would be fantastic if we could continue to run juice through the same carto forever, it is just not what they were designed for. Dark juices do tend to clog them faster than light juices, but there is nothing that a juice maker can do about that. We don't have any control over the colors of our ingredients. I have asked our suppliers if it is possible to get clear flavors and the answer is no.

Personally, I am happy getting a tank of juice out of a carto, that is 6 times what the manufacturer designed them to do.

Ahhh the sweetness of Nutella...Gotta love it.
Good morning folks!!! Started my lazy day by cooking breakfast for the fam. Browned some sausage, crumbled it up, put it into several small piles on a skillet, and poured pancake batter over each pile. Sausage pancakes!!! Dey wuz nummy.

Time to do nothing for the rest of the day!!!!

Mrs E said you need to try it on cinnamon graham crackers. Last night, I swear she was going to go get a batter knife/scraper thing to get it all out of the jar. She damn near had her face in it trying to lick the bottom of it out...

If you ever head to the Charlotte area, let me know... I would LOVE for you to groom Charli.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MR V!!!!! Drink a beer for me!!!

Yep that's pretty much what happens .....Next step....Car Nutella...

She had my dieing laughing last night. She got home from work, came to the mancave with the graham crackers and Nutella. She had a butter knife, though Im not sure what for. She started dunking the crackers in it. Then she looked like a little kid trying to fit her hand in the jar to get where the crackers wouldnt reach.

Who thinks this stuff up ?

1st weekend day of sunshine in a month. Yard is overgrown, mower is broke and I need to fix the ac gasket on the pop up camper. Sounds craptastic don't it?,

I feel your mower broke pain.

Maybe it's just me (lucky)but I have yet for CC juice to clog anything..I vape ccc non stop. I even set an alarm for 3 A.M. tor a quick ccc vape. I use boge cartos in many different tanks.Phiniac,Lava,Bella, and unique. Sometimes I punch 2 holes sometimes just one.I'm just random not scientific.Sometimes it's a 2 punch day sometimes it's just 1. I only vape a Provari and copper creek juices.

This is what I'm gauging my experience against.

    What's the special carto tool??

    See below.

I just have a small delrin driptip that works well. I started using it to keep the o-rings from getting messed up from pushing carto's into the tanks.

Is that tool in the pic solid?? Like no hole in the center??

Yes it is solid, with only minor barbing on the tip (where you grab it) to make it easier to pull out. I have noticed at least on my Phiniac that the seal ON the tool is snugger than the seals around the carto, and the first time I removed it, what I actually did was I pulled the carto clean out OF the tank (spill spill spill), hehe, now I leave the carto threaded to the Provari.

Being an admitted carto n00b, I figured I'd better use a tool like this to:

    1. Prevent juice from getting into the air passage.
    2. Allow me to top off literally to the top of the tank, and MO vaping time per fill.
    3. Prevent damage to the tank o-rings.
    4. Prevent (I think) any pressurization forcing excess juice INTO the carto (which already had juice in it) on re-fills.

    Thoughts ??
