Agreed

It works perfectly (go figure) with Phiniac tanks and o-rings.

You are saying blowing down from the drip tip side, towards the battery side ?
Occasionally I do, but unless I get hot sizzling juice pops, I typically don't. That only clears the air passage right, it wouldn't un-flood the carto material would it ?

When people talk about a flooded carto they are talking about the center tube. Carto material doesn't get flooded, it gets saturated. I don't think there is such a thing as the filler being over saturated. What normally happens is the excess will pool on top of the filler and then seep into the center tube, thus flooding it. At least that has been my experience during my 15 months of vaping almost exclusively with cartos.

It is possible you are punching the holes too deep, and piercing the center tube. If that happens, the carto will work for awhile if you're lucky, but eventually it will flood and leak and there is no coming back from that. Also, if you use a syringe to fill you have to be very careful not to pierce the center tube when you're filling or same thing, flooding and leaking and there is no return.

Wel... if you have really bad neighbors...

Just kidding! It was a science project of Ian's. The hardest part was making it so it could be taken apart and moved.

OMG, that SUPER rocks. I have used them before, mostly at Festivals and the like, but saddly I do not OWN one, nor did I build one (that is cool). I would however like to volunteer some "neighbors" if you wish to dial it in.

Dammit Sallie when you explain it like THAT, it makes SENSE !!!!!

Perhaps I was using "flooding/flooded" loosely, and don't think I've ever pierced the tube. I'm almost through my 2nd tank of Cool Aide, no issues.

I have to pay better attention to exactly what's going on next time, so I can better explain what I'm doing, and what's happening. For a few cartos in a row it seems that everything is prefaced by a tightening of the draw, then shortly after, seems like the juice gets darker, and then it tastes bad, and maybe some burnt taste, but def. very hard to draw.

After I received two syringes (thanks to you know who) I never flooded a carto again. Fills perfectly. I always blow them out anyway just in case and sometimes I will get a bit of juice on the paper towel. In the beginning I flooded and flooded. I tried to condom fill (big failure for me, but some like it). I'm not a patient person, so syringe fill is the way to go for me. I prefer the sharp tips better than blunt - it goes into the carto much smoother. I generally just drip after I've used the carto for awhile.

Trust me, I still am a noob and I ask way to many questions - but thankfully - everyone here is so kind and helpful :)

Sounds like a plan. You might even want to take the carto apart to see if the coils are gunked up or if the tube is clogged.

Either way, I think the general consensus here is if you get one tank out if it, you're golden and more is just icing. At $1.25 a carto and $3.30 for 6ml of juice, for me that would equal $20 in cigarettes, I'm saving over $15 and the value to my health is priceless.

I have shaved a few cats at work before. Not my fav thing to do. Quite hard actually, and not real safe but can be done. If someone wants to pay me $85 to shave their cat, well then I'll do it.
I did have to bathe a cat one time, it wasn't pretty. She was a stray we rescued, and was loaded with fleas. The 2" of water we put in the tub was so brown, you couldn't see the bottom!

In fact, I do. And there is a reason for it! Im an awesome cook. If you groom my dog, I will cook you any of my recipes in the THIS thread.

Maybe even someone else's. Depends on how hard it is.

It's not just you James. I was going to say something about imagining it up on a price board - "____ shaving $85", but then I thought better of it. Good thing I didn't post that, huh?

Sometimes you just get a bad box and there's nothing to be done about it. It's happened on occasion to me.
