Raining here. We have progressed to polishing furniture. It works about the same as sweeping. I polish the table. Victor licks it. I polish the table, Jake licks it. *sigh* Funny, for how hard I have been working around here the hut looks the same.
I lol'd at that! Lemony furniture spray must be tasty!!!

We have no grass to mow from the drought. We've had rain twice now, but it's way too late to save the lawn.
Thats the easiest lawn care you will ever have!

Let the weekend begin. Off to Walworld and liqueur store. Outa wine.

Sent from Drott's Dog house on the move
Its about time!!! Enjoy it! But make sure your pain killers dont react with the alcohol!!!

heh 98 and climbing:( I don't miss the midwest at all. Its pretty rare for us to ever get this hot and it won't last long.

I read that Oregon and Washington were in for a big heat wave, first of the summer. Its weird out here right now, the valley here in Sacramento is expecting thunderstorms - rare. I miss the midwest (except the humidity).

vape mail YAY, juice from CC. I was also expecting my Nova Mini - but it did not come :(

Hair is cut and colored, no more grey roots. Someday I may just go grey. No I did not have wine or beer because of said pain killers which I did not take before I left (big mistake). I have a bottle of wine chilling from a great little vineyard in Lodi. Which reminds me, we need to take another trip to Lodi. I don't go to Sonoma or Napa for wine, they are too expensive than the smaller vineyards and I've found most of the smaller vineyards have better wine. Plus I like supporting small companies. :) And their tasting rooms are cheaper too

The weather here is weird. Its not hot only 85*, there is a cool breeze and its slightly humid. Maybe we will get that .10 of an inch of rain after all

James, hope your night goes well, although you won't see this until tomorrow.

Amut, glad to see someone else from the West on here :)

V - Lace hides when I clean. As soon as I'm done with the rug under the table, she goes and lays down on it under the table, wasting my effort on vacuuming the rug to begin with. Right now she is trying to stare me down into feeding her early

Sounds like you have finally caught on...
break time. I think I have the pattern figured out. I sweep the dirt into a pile. As I get the dustpan Victor stomps on the pile to disperse it. I put the dust pan down. I sweep the dirt into a pile....

I have a few bottles of wine in the back of the stash from small vineyards in CA. We used to pick up in Napa, one case here, one case there. I loved those places and tried to always get one bottle of something interesting when I was there. Of course I could not partake in the tasting rooms. Drats. I keep waiting for a special occasion to open them, then when we do have an occasion I forget the special wine. It's aging. Lots.

My dreads are just staying the way they are for now. A few more months and they will be .... length again, and I can give them away to locks of love. Not sure if I am going to this time, might just keep my own hair. :)

Victor jumps in front of the vac and dances around in front of it, Jake tries to kill it. I can't vac unless they are outside. sheesh.

We've had weird weather here in the midwest. Blazing hot and no rain. Lots of humidity to make sure we are good and sticky, but not near enough rain. The corn looks awful. Look out food prices... :(

Good luck at poker tonight James!

nice to meet you punkinduster.

Now you're talking, you can't go wrong with ribs !!!!

I should try this to see if it helps. How hard is it to avoid them all ??? Ribs aren't carbs, ......... Right ?

Ahhh, so that is the magic witch doctor's morning brew. :)

isn't that how things start ?? :)

i think i need to get some kids.

Absolutely. And it that doesn't work (trust me sometimes it doesn't), switch to a box-o-wine.

I have not ever tried one of his recipes i didn't like.

I hate to say it, but i have cats that do the same thing.

Low 90's here, riding mower on the fritz (for those who are keeping track), probably due to having to mow all the neighbor's lawns when theirs broke. Push mowing took about 3 hours, and whew, too hot for that but it's done.

V - can't like the blazing hot and humid part. Victor and Jake sound funny!

I hate when the corn looks awful. I remember "back in the day" of detassling corn, dreadful job, but DeKalb paid good money. Picking rock was worse and I hated hoeing beans. When you live in Southern Minnesota, those are the summer jobs! Corn here is just starting to come in, its been yummy, from what I hear (I can't eat it anymore). Grocery prices are high everywhere, that is why we've started grocery shopping at Wallyworld (aka Walletworld)

That's the magic of Provari...Just sayin..
FV thanks for the (second shipment) fast processing/shipping. I've got enough fruits on hand to mix the mega-bottle of danish you just sent. WOW is how that smells fresh out of the mailbox. I did also receive your carto punch and I've compared the screws between yours and the "other" one, and YOUR screw is clearly hardened, and seems will last forever (haven't punched yet).

I am wondering what length cartos YOU use, XL's ?? If so about how much of the body of the carto do you expose outside your tool before punching ???

Provari Update:

Having had the VV running for a month, love it, don't know how I didn't stop vaping before I found it. Chrome/blue arrived with the extended cap and large batts and it lasts much longer than the standard batts. I couldn't make it through the day with the standard batts, but the 18650 (I think) no problem. As expected, the Mrs. has the silver VV and ALLOWED me to keep the chromie. She's just getting interested in trying cartos, so she's testing on the inexpensive DCT tank.

Would have liked to have post, post, posted with you guys/gals today, but due to repeatedly having to mow the neighbors lawns as well as mine, my secondary belt finally gave out. Had to push mow it and 3 hours later, (after I was done) decided it was TOO hot to mow, LOL.

Lol, I grew up in Indiana and when you were 13 that was the best way to make money in the summer. They would bring buses around and ship all us teenagers to the fields. Out here I mention detassling and no one knows what it is.
