    Janie......

The. three most basic units in electricity are voltage (V), current (I, uppercase "i") and resistance (r). Voltage is measured in volts, current is measured in amps and resistance is measured in ohms.

A neat analogy to help understand these terms is a system of plumbing pipes. The voltage is equivalent to the water pressure, the current is equivalent to the flow rate, and the resistance is like the pipe size.

OK - figure I'll ask here.

What is the state of the art in leak proof tanks? I'm reading about threaded and o-rings and I'm still not buying their sealed properly yet. And since I'm a cynic - I need somebody else to convince me it's worth risking a leak on a "no leak" tank. ;-)

    Sooo... what says you? -Magnus

Cleaning my vivi nova worked out really well. I'm happily vaping with it today. :)

can you tell me exactly how you cleaned yours? I rinsed mine and dry burned it and now the coil looks like it's one black blob. Before I dry burned it then coil looked like a coil. Kinda scared to fill it up and try it now.

I've never had a carto tank leak. I have had the carto break off in my back pocket but the tank didn't leak.

So far the tanks that I am happiest with are the Phiniac. I use the standard size with a regular Boge. The past 2 days I've also been putting a vivi nova 2.5 through the paces. It's basically a ce2 with a 2.8ml tank. I still haven't thrown it out, so far so good. It does seem to mute the flavor a bit more than a carto, but being able to wash and reuse it is a plus.

Just for the record, I keep looking at that angel in my yard now. Watching, waiting....

Make sure it is dry first, then dry burn until the coil is new and silver looking again. It takes a few times. Don't fill it until then.

just poppin in to say hi to the cc crew! mother in law..sister..and 3 kids were in a head on collision..sis was driving and moved the car enough to take the blunt of the impact to protect kids and mom..shes in pretty bad shape right now..femur bone was lying behind her pelvis area which is all shattered..and she just found out the day before she is 7 weeks pregnant! they have her in traction right now and say she will be for at least 6 months..and the outcome of the baby is unknown at this point. she has been to 2 hospitals thus far and headed to pittsburgh now. really sucks. and they knew the woman who hit her..just got married 6 wks ago and now has a broken neck. really scarey..they were on their way to come get my 2 kids to go camping for a night.

I've already prayed. I am so sorry. I will continue to keep them in my daily prayers.

My nova came with two other parts, I assume its a higher something. Going to give it a try while I wait for other one to dry. The other one looked perfectly clean. Tiff & V did you dry burn yours first before using it the first time?

I wish I could afford a Phiniac, I look at them and look at them. They had one posted a few days ago with the cutest penguin. I really wanted him, but $40 for a tank just doesn't seem right. I imagine they last forever though, right?

The other two are different ohms. It will be stamped on the side. Nope, don't dry burn them new, it's just for getting the gunk off of the coils when you clean them.

Phiniac has a scratch and dent section, keep an eye on it.

The upcoming season of Doctor Who perfects the Weeping Angels - and more.. I'll never look at inanimate objects w/ faces the same again.

Phiniac, 'eh? I'll have to look into that and these new-fangled carto punches. Thanks! -Magnus

Ok, I'll just put a new coil on it and start over. I dry burn my stardusts all the time with no problem but darn if I didn't mess this one up on the first try.

I'll be watching for it. Would moving the gargoyle closer to her help me at all?

Nope - only live eyeballs directly on it or on it live through proxy (live camera). That's it.

    :-/

Noowwwww... I might be able to work something out.

(Man that gives me a great idea for scary as heck pranks.)
