the copper pipe with genny

Maybe someone has done this before. I wanted to build a Pv with hardware store parts with a genny top instead of a carto thread. When I figure out how to post pictures I will.

I need finer components for the rba top. Any ideas on a source for smaller brass screws or maybe a different way to do the top? Right now the center post holds the top together and provides +. The screws are #6-30. It burns harsh. I think I'm getting hot spots on my coil because the contacts are so large.

Check your local Ace? I needed tiny screws for my battery case mod, my local Ace has a row of nuts screws and washers like the old hardware stores used to have... I spent over a hour opening drawers, and looking but found what I needed.

I was looking to use a 22mm copper end cap for the top tho

Mart123 This model is currently not producing reliable vapor. Conductivity is excellent but I think because of the large size of the contacts in the RBA I'm getting hot spots where the kanthal lays on the connector washer. When I fiddle with it and get the coils to glow evenly I get good results.

Better hobby stores that deal with model railroaders have or can get brass screws down to #00-90. That is tiny! Be warned, they can get pricey. 00-90 Brass Flat Head Machine Screws -- 1/2 x .047" pkg(10)
