Just retested my Crown...Set at 10 watts(10 beeps) 3.0 ohm HH(verified ohms on Provari) delivers 4.38 volts under load = 6.39 watts weak vape.... Same 3.0 ohm atty on Provari set at 5.5 volts - 10.08 watts = great vape.... So the Crown is the issue..

+1 for Evolv..... Artisan vaping has no customer service if you cant reach them! Lets see what happens when I sent it back to them....

I got no response from Artisan either.

I got no response from Artisan either.

Im afraid to sent mine back to them, are they even there???
Like I said with a 3.0 ohm atty it does not deliver enough volts to achive the 10 watts I have it set at..
In VV mode set a 5.5 volts the inline voltage meter reads 5.6 volts/no load.... Under load it reads 5.4 volts so it works in VV.
One thing to note though is that when the battery voltage drops it will still read 5.6 volts/no load but under load it only pushes out 5.1 volts... Definitely is not working correctly... I might have to wait until I can get another Crown to see if I get the same results...If I do then it is a design flaw in the Crown.........

EDIT: So the Crown set at 10 watts with a 3.0 atty deliver only 4.25-4.39 volts = only a 6 + watt vape!
Kick set at 10 watts with a 3.0 atty delivers 5.4-5.5 volts = 10 watts:vapor: Perfect!

Mine works ,but I have to hold the fire button and tighten and loosen the mod until it is just right. All the time holding the fire button. Sometimes I hear the "Star Wars March" on a fully charged battery. Then I have to make my CCST or any other mod very loose before it will fire! Kind of annoying.
Otherwise I really like it better than anything else. If it weren't for that problem!

Hello all, I was give a tip to contact Artisan through another forum, and it worked. He contacted me right away and gave me another contact email. He told me to contact him through this email. I will see If I get any response this time.

I received a Crown in a trade (ironically for a brand new Kick I had) and it lasted all of 3 days before it started acting up.. Finally didn't work anymore at all... I e-mailed Artisan, and it was weeks until I received a reply, and was more or less told since I'm not the original owner, there's probably nothing that can be done.. :( Damn.. I had a 2nd hand Kick which went bad. I contacted Evolv , explained the situation, and received a reply the next day with an RMA form to print. (which didn't ask if I was the original owner or where purchased) I sent it to them, and had a brand new Kick within a week. THAT'S great customer service...

It took them 8 days to get back to me and all they said is that they would turn it over to the tech dept. I still dont know if they are going to replace it or if I should sent it back to them?? I just sent them another e-mail this morning...Lets see how long it takes to get a response....

I got the same response, but I forwarded my original email to the address I posted, they told me basically, its sounds like there is something wrong, send it to.....
So Im sending it. I think our emails were being ignored and not till I got a hold of the above person were they aware that they had people with problems.

Hey Guys

I am following this thread because I watched the YouTube video detailing the crown 2.0 operation and thought it was the coolest thing I had seen in a while.

Was going to order one immediately but this c.s. issue has got me worried.

Please keep us informed as to the status of your individual dealings with artisan. I will hold off until there is some kind of resolution.

Cheers!
