Will the Crown fit in a P+18650 if I use a 18490 Battery?

Yes, but you may need to make some o-ring adjustments to the fit rings which support the battery.
I see you traded a ProVari for your P+. The ProVari is the king of VV and the P+ is the king of mechanical. While the Crown works well in a P+ it does sort of turn it into a ....... Duke. You'll see.

After the wattage has been set, is there a noticeable difference in consistency or battery life between the kick and the crown?

And it plays the "He Man" music when you switch from VV to VW mode.

Unfamiliar to me.
I've decided the best way to use it in a PrecisePlus is as pictured in my posts, with the fuse inverted on top of the Crown.
Time will tell how well the Crown holds up to insertion and removal from the mod. It's scary when the little prong scrapes along the threads.

I wish I could get a minimal ext for my 18350 and incorporate this. One reason I have stopped using my P+18350 is because of no safeties. But this would very much solve that dilemma.

Why would you stop using it? There are many safety features in a PrecisePlus 18350 such as:

-Non Stacked Single Cell
-IMR Chemistry Batteries
-Safety Venting (Did you know Super-T was the first to implement Safety vents in a mod?)
-Locking Button

Plus a single celled AW IMR battery has never failed in a mod since the inception of mods.

I love my 18350 size and the features you mentioned. But I got a bad 510 to 510 connector. So it shorted out and shocked the devil out my finger. I guess it was more like a burn. I am in no blaming my P+18350. But it kinda put the fear in me. And when it shorted the push button would stick. I hit it against my Palm real hard to get it to release.

I need to get a stronger spring and use it again. Perfect size for me.

Sorry to hear about that, adapters can be problematic. Were you were using it to lift a tank/rba up higher so it'd make connection? When atomziers short the, reason buttons on mods get hot is the current is flowing back to the negative end of the battery which the last stop is the button so it gets the warmest usually. The P+ is robust and i'd bet nothing was harmed. Remove button, if there are any hot spots on the side of it where it passes through the bottom cap, you can hit them with a bit of fine steel wool.(your Rhodium plating will be impervious to the shorts, so nothing to do to it, wipe with a soft cloth to clean) Reassemble, vape.

Every adapter I've ever tried to use has shorted out eventually. They typcially use those crappy soft silicone isolaters, so if you put any pressure on them at all, it will crush the isolator and short.
