Lucked up and found one here on ECF.

I've noticed most of it comes from a small minority of Provari owners, and said few bash pretty much everything (check out their post histories).
One of them said he emails a bunch of time consuming questions (on stuff he already knows) to see if they'll spend two hours with him before he'll buy anything from them! OK...why waste people's time over a $20 order. That's no measure of customer service...that's just being bored and having no life....OR SPYING for some other PV store right?
Another one is always buying stuff, ripping it apart, then getting ticked off that they won't let him keep it for free. Then claiming they sell 'fakes' (yet offering no proof that it's a fake).
Another one advises people to run dual coils on batteries that weren't designed for that kind of load...says his wife uses them every day on a stock Riva (if you really have 20 mods that collect dust over your Provari...why is your wife using a Riva with Dual coils, as this is a battery/switch combo that might blow up in her face under that kind of load?)
Yet another one got ticked because he was accidentally sent an older rev product...they offered his money back PLUS shipping, but he still felt a need to slander said vendor for several days on ECF.
They use personal names alot...and describe products that sell like hot-cakes (to repeat buyers who are aware of the 'flaws' but still find value and performance) as FAIL.
Anyway...it's ok...they do make very valid points and it all gets balanced out as other people post contrasting opinions
Welcome to the Darwin clan Credo. I have a Provari and I can attest that it is a great Mod. I will also agree that there are certain owners that have no life and are just plain rude and obnoxious. I know the ones you have described and in fact have even had to send a few of them a harsh PM since they think they know it all. These people are almost as anoying as the "if it is not 100% mechanical" it will break crew. Those ones irratate me even more as they type away on a computer, listening to an Ipod while watching a flat panel TV .....ing about how a PV that has electronics is not reliable. Wow the irony. But alas we can not fix stupid and I sure do enjoy messing with them. Happy vapes

China flight is Monday and tomorrow morning a special trip to the post office to finally mail your Chocolate Caramel Cookies that has been riding around with me for 5 days now. I sure do hope you like it and that maybe it is almost as good as finding just the right spot on the like button

Funny. This applies to all people, vapers or not. I agree that we can't fix stupid and I'm here to help you mess with them. Happily, I might add!
I don't know what sort of computer is in a Darwin, but I can't help but imagine that upgrades could be sold which would make it useful far more than just a PV
Imagine Darwin as:
A nice multi purpose pocket sized power supply for the e-enthusiast. Charge other devices like cameras, phones, mp3 players...run a light bulb or led on it...flashers and safety lights for the roadside, etc.
Software is a wonderful thing once the hardware is out and about

Yeah, I usually have the Black background and gold writing and now I'm back to the basic Blue/white....Don't like it much...
