Check the output on the Darwin. My dual coils came in around 1.4ohm and that defaults the Darwin to its lowest voltage of 3.6V so I have to dial in 9W for it to pump more watt/volts into a dual coil. If the setup you are using drives volts to 3.6 (min level) no matter what you dial in on watts it is still pumping the same. Check you display and you will see exactly what I am saying. Now if the Dual coil you have is truely ohmimg out at 2.0 then you can dial watts lower than the 9w mine is putting out when firing a DC at 1.4ohms
