The Darwin From Evolv!!!

I did hit the button on the Reo last nite, Kris. Ski was around and held my hand thru the whole ordeal (of should I shouldn't I...). Got a black/silver (it was the LAST ONE available), and I really have to stalk Mr. Mailman now! Ordered batteries and a charger, but now I want lights in my leaky tank!

Why do they leak?

How bout T-shirts? I want one that says, "Excuse me while I drip"

Woo-how on your purchase, kat! I grabbed a red/red mini. Funny, CG walked me through the should/shouldn't I phase as I already had a silver/black grand. One may end up on the classys as I can't think of why I need two. But, red was what I originally wanted, so...

WooHoo and congrats on the twins! Glad you got a red one if that's what you wanted originally. I just wanted one, but then when I really thought aobut it, the black with silver was the right one for me. Who knows, maybe someday I'll do a door exchange!

OMG....Kat! That would be an amazing shirt! Congrats on the Mini, You will love it! We might need a new thread called "Darwinians with a Reo on the side" My Darwin and my Mini go everywhere with me. Of course we could cut this down to one if Evolv would simply put out a Darwinian Juice Box

CG, now that would be the only mod I would ever want/need! And would certainly solve my 7hr drive to ny problem! Even if it had shorter bat life than the Darwin, I could use it as a PT in the car!

Got my Darwin today. So far so good! Big thanks to Drew and the other folks at Nhaler. One question though, when it's on, is the light supposed to blink every few seconds?

Yes RM, that is normal for the new revision. It is basically rechecking it's status every 6 seconds, and the light does flash quickly. The upside being that the unit should never have a shorted atty fry the electronics, as is possible on our earlier ones.

Not that I need/want it at this point...but I'm curious about 'upgrade paths' for the Darwin. Have any of you heard about what might be in the works for this possibility?

I'm not sure what's in a Darwin, but it seems highly probable that much of it can be altered with little more than firmware upgrades (and what ever equipment is needed to flash/burn whatever logic chips it uses).

Not sure if they have thought about Darwin upgrades, but Brandon announced they have 2 more products they are working on.
