If this isn't an issue on Drew's version of these, I might be inclined to pick up a couple. I am cautiously optimistic looking at the photo it looks like the outer threaded section is significantly shorter than on my batteries. It looks more in line with my genuine Joyetech eGo batteries. Plus they are 900 mah mine are only 600.

If someone can confirm that they work with the ego Mega dual coils with no adjustment I'm sold!

Thinkin Drew just put these up, so it could be that there has not been time to have any out there yet...I have none of them....but have read on various threads where others have had to adjust the center pin on similar type batts....kinda common I think...

I have spent the past few days debating if I should take the plunge with the Darwin, and now they're out of stock, and I'm a bit sad :( But at least I'll be slightly more wealthy! Until the come back in stock at least, and then who knows.... :)

Chief, I'm looking forward to living vicariously through your first impressions!

Hang out for awhile MT. Many here bounced back and forth and debated if they should get one. VERY VERY few have regretted it once they did pull the trigger. Ask some questions and hopefully some of the new owners will chime in and let you know what they think. Happy vapes and whatever you chose if it keeps you of smokes it is the best PV out there then for you.

Congrats on joining the Darwin family Chief, and congrats to Ski for making veteran. Does that mean you get to boss us around?

Thanks, and No feakin way Rob. I am a boss at work and the last thing I want is to have to set a good example here!!! How could I perform my duties as keeper of the gutter in Darwinia then :)

Drew pops in here from time to time... why not go to nhaler web site and click on contact....you can ask him there....there is also a phone number listed if you want to call him.....hope this helps...

I am not in a huge hurry. Just want to see what people think of them first. Since I have my Darwins, I just haven't felt that need to go after other PVs the moment they are released! ;)

Hello all, Quick question about the Darwin. I am about a month and a half into vaping with no analogs after the first day of getting a crappy e cig at 7-11. Then went to a Riva and a Kgo kit. Looking for a VV device now that I know vaping is something that enjoy. I have been using the Boge 2.0 LR cartos and enjoy them but wanted something that held a bit more juice. So I got some of the xxxl clear dual coils. What are some of the bigger cartos that can be used on the Darwin that do not interfere with swinging the from the off to the on position and back. Not looking for a tank size carto. Would something like the mega dual coil 510 cartos that hold 1.8 mls of juice or something a bit bigger work. Thanks for any info.

It's OK Krisb. Many old-timers here remember that great album. Back when records were made of pure, natural vinyl. Back when Todd Rundgren was still raising Liv Tyler.

.... Checking trash now... Didn't see anything else in there... But this... Not the tank...

When I received mine, I was surprised that a high dollar PV would come with no instructions, no box, just shoved in a padded envelope. This thing is built like a B.S.H., so I guess it's OK, but folks should be ready for that. It somewhat lessens the "perception of quality" when you receive it (at least it did for me). Luckily the Darwin is so BA that I was completely in love 15 minutes later and forgot all about it.

Hi SilverSpike, several have posted pics of wider cartos they have used, that can still fold shut with the arm. I have used several dual-coil cartos, that are longer but the same diameter. They hold more juice completely, but the upper coil is still near the top, and you still may need to top it off. It is nice that they hold more juice, but most dual-coil cartos have one coil above the other. It doesn't let you go exactly twice as long, just because it holds more.

Hey Silver I use the GO-GO carto's on mine they hold 2.3-3 ml of juice. they close just fine on my Darwin. You have to get the 510 to GO-GO adapter. The Darwin will take anything you've got...LOL
I use a Tank too, I'm not really worried about closing the arm because the screen doesn't drain the battery at all from what I noticed. Good luck in your choice...BTW I've only been vaping for 3 months, but I'm glad I got the Darwin early on saved me from going on a spending spree like so many others here. I really don't have the urge to try anything else.

Darwin 1st Impressions... It's pretty neat and vapes as I expected to... AWESOME! That's what its all about, isn't it? For me the answer is yes... However, being used to tube mods and completely switching to tanks exclusively, I have to give it some time... That is the only drawback I can see at this stage. It handles a tank fine, and I don't think I will mind at all not closing it really. It would be nice though... I think I need to put it through its paces for a few days at work and such... If I were a dripper still, this would be an absolute winner being able to close the arm as it is intended. After a couple days I will follow up on it for you guys! I do want to comment on the switch... It's flawless and effortless. Feels great too. Need to hold on to it for a few days to get the feel of it. So far, it ain't too bad! I don't know about the gooseneck yet, that would allow me to close it with the tank, mainly because of the length of the unit with the tank already... Sooo... I am enjoying it right now, I report back as more findings transpire.
