Yes they are Dual Coil and they hold 3mls of liquid!!! They also come with a drip tip, (Ego Mega Type A )so please dont think that they are overpriced.

I think they are super awesome sauce. I am going to put a couple in the cart. Black drip tips are my favorite!

Maybe some1 might know whats going on... So this weekend I decided I was going to try one of those smok tech ego mega duel coils. So looking in my box of goodies I found a short black 510-510 extender... screwed that one... then screwed on the ego mega duels. At first, I could crank up the juice and man was the thing wicked. But after about an hour of vaping the darwin started throwin off the error "!" and showing the batery dead. Unscrewing the carto and screwing it back on seemed to clear the issue and I payed it no mind... till it did it again!

The second time it did it I ended up tinkering alot longer to get the error to clear - as it took a couple times of screw/unscrewing the carto. Finally it cleared and begain to operate normal... so i thought. Now, on the lowest setting or the highest setting on the darwin, it will not power over 3.4v. I put on a standard boge 510, where I use to be able to crank em to close to 6v now, they will not fire at over 4.4w/ the darwin set at 12.7. Stumped, I tried 510 atty along with a 306 atty and a x2 clearo and same thing, 12.7 im maxed at 3.4v.

Anyone have any ideas??? I only used the duel coil carto because I was out of my std boge 510 cartos. Is my Darwin broke? :( Will I never see 5 volt+ again :( HEEEEELP!!!

I've noticed that my battery indicator drops down to about 75% within a couple hours. Then stays there for about 4 or 5 hours, then drops to 50%. From there another 5 or 6 hours till it's done. But keep in mind that I'm running 1.25Ω dual coils at 12.7 watts. I've been plugging mine in while in the car to get through the day.

When I first got my Darwin, I was only using regular resistence attys/cartos around 2.8 - 3.0 resistence. I tested the battery charge twice and each time got about 21 hours of heavy vaping. Now that I am using more dual coil cartos I'm getting 12-13 hours on a charge. Either way, the Darwin out performs any PV that I am aware of.

I was there toting mine, and I saw tons of darwins around, in fact I saw at least one table full of them on Saturday.

Good to know that my performance is about average. I have a usb connection in my car, so it's no big deal to plug it in while I drive. Other than that, I just plug it in when I go to bed.

I would really like to fit bigger stuff on my Darwin. MWA has this good idea to have an offset ( s shape) stainless steel adapter to screw on. Now it sounds good to me but Drew can you help us out on this and are more people interested?
definatly, especially with all the tank mods out and stuff, id be interested

I like the idea but just a simple thread on the end that connects to the Darwin won't work. It will be a pain to line up correctly, since in this price range no two thread cuts will be the same. That end needs a longer thread length and a lock nut that can be tightened against the Darwin to hold the S in the right position.

How about just an offset adapter with a built-in swivel and set screw...screw onto existing 510 and swivel to the position you want, then tighten the set screw......

Edit: Just in case ----swivel idea first posted here by me....... for all to see..... he-he-he ....there may be a BEE Buzzin around.......

It's too bad they don't let me use the equipment and scrap materials at work (liability, I guess). I've got a couple ideas that have been cooking for a while, now

Oh, nice! I didn't realize they were DC, but I was gonna try a couple anyway. Now I'll definitely add a couple on my order :p

I agree. Does anyone make (preferably a mega) dual coil carto that has a 2.0 - 2.5 resistence????

I'd love to see those, too. I got those 3 ohm DCC's today, they're very nice. Less than 2 amps draw compared to the 2.7 or more amps I was putting through the 1.5 ohm ones. Should be a big boost to my battery life

If you gift, trade, or sell your Darwin, give the new owner your brains as well. Obviously you wouldn't need them. ;)
(The 'you' is general as in 'one', not you, kc.)

Is that what's known as a "no brainer"?

I got Generals Darwin in great shape and he took very good care of it. I have handled a few Darwins and this one is perfect. Great button feel, arm is nice and stiff. I have lots of different mods and I think they are all great for different things. We should be supportive, when he regrets it and thinks about buying a new one, we don't want to make him feel not welcome on the thread, or consider a different device because of our opinions.

So I've tried a lot of methods for cleaning atties, so I have this one that definitely needs cleaning tonight. So I've used dry burning quite a bit, it does help, first time I've done this with the Darwin though. Few bursts, blow it out, do it again, and by the 4th time the thing is pristine. Got some ash taste but that went away pretty quick and now have a brand new atty. So this is the first thing I've tried that actually returned the thing to brand new shape, just another thing to be real happy about with the Darwin!
