Thanks for the welcome! I plan on dripping on attys a lot with the Darwin. Can anyone tell me if the empire mod's or avid vapor's drip shields fit okay when in the closed position?
If you stack a couple of extender adapters you should have enough play to close the arm. I've never done so, myself, but others have. I only drip when at home, anyway, where I have no need to close it. The 306DCA closes quite comfortably, though ;-)
I've got one on my D'win as we speak, and yes, it closes, with null problemo! Not that I close it often...

So I got my Darwin in today, and this thing rocks! I'm using it with an i06 3.5Ω atty with a delrin drip tip, and it is vaping like a champion. After only a few hours with the Darwin, I have already decided that I want another one. I am so glad I picked this up sooner than later! I love the form factor and feel to it.
isnt it great? i cant wait for my i06 beta tester kit to get in, pop that on the darwin and its gonna be amazing!! i wanted the 2.5ohm but they had sold out so went with the 3.5 i think it was a better choice now, i use my bottom feeder VVs alot so i forget i can go really high with the darwin for my wattage, lol

It is probably a good thing that the 2.5 was out of stock IMO because the 3.5 is the only way to go on the Darwin. I usually run it anywhere from 8-9 Watts or so.
I also wanted to get the 2.5ohm. I was using a 2.5 i06 all week with my buzz pro and with really good results. The 3.5Ω at 8 watts is awesome! I love how the Darwin provides tasty and full vapor hits consistently. I bought mine from the original owner on the classifieds sub-forum. It has about a year and a half left on the warranty which has been transferred to me. It doesn't have the blue screen, but I kind of like how it is not that bright (like an old school casio watch). I'm enjoying it a lot
It's only my first day with it, so I definitely want to make it my go to device for the next week before I make any conclusive opinions about it. The Boba Fett light is just an image I found from google images. I would love to own one! If Boba Fett vaped, it would be with a Darwin.
