Don't change, I liked your down to earth approach and it added I thought that needed spark to the show. Leaford really hung in there (good for him). And finally got to see some of the people who I admire in person. OK looking to see what happens next on the next broadcast.
I'm starting to get annoyed.....I mean if your in business to make money and the Darwin makes money, the longer you make people wait, the more likely they are to spend their money on something that they can buy....

jkmtwo, I think it's just supply and demand. I don't personally know what either the supply or the demand is, but they sell out fast. Rather than playing the "Press F5 and hope to find them in stock" lottery, it's probably best to email Drew @ Nhaler to be put on the notification list.

The only way these could meet the demand would be if they were mass produced in a factory. As far as I know, the Darwins are pretty much hand made. That being said, I also don't think their team is very big (just speculation). Working on new products, the kick, making new Darwins, and repairs/customer service, it's probably hard for them to make new Darwins to meet the demand.
Alright everyone, i finally got a prototype worked up, it's far from finished and perfect, but i like the proof of concept of this
Im calling it the "Jager" adapter, for now

(Edit: the slight bend of the Odysseus in ward is just due to the press fit not being perfectly level yet, like i said..prototype for function first!, also the silver 510 extension is not part of the adapter either...though i am thinking i may need to find a brass one and add it to the adapter for stabilizing the press fit...one last thing, toughest part is seating the connectors so that when you screw it onto the Darwin, that when tight it is on at the right angle...tough to do)

Nice!! Although I would still be slightly concerned about the weight strain on the original connector
it's not bad, im still working on getting the battery connector side a little lower. Still it is a worry of mine. It may not look it, but it is pretty solid.
