I am going out of town for quite a while (6-8wks) and I would hate to have it sitting at my house and lonely Anyone know what the shipping time from NJ to TX is?Well I succeeded in running my Darwin battery down to dead just now.....unintentionally. I wanted to start limiting charging cycles from doing it every night and skipped it last night. Then I got careless or overconfident that the thing would never die and I didn't watch my battery gauge today and voila! Dead Darwin! All is not lost though. It revived itself in 3 minutes, hooked up to USB on my laptop! Boy the pretty little LCD Evolv emblem gets mean when the battery dies....just a giant LCD dead battery icon!

Drew - sorry our paths where not able to cross on the latest China trip maybe next time. I was rerouted to Holland instead and pushed China off to beginning of April. Still watching daily for the Darwin to be stocked and hoping something will hit this week!!!!
No and the cows have not come home either!!!! I am willing to bet I will get the Darwin here quicker. Thanks for reminding me.

Don't know about NJ to TX but NJ to NJ takes about two days.
Not trying to sound like an A#$ kisser but packages from nhaler come extremely quick. If I got something sent to me from my union hall which is in the same town as Drew it would take at least three days if not four. But you know how union people are..lol
or maybe its just awesome customer service...
Oh...I just had a Pollyanna moment.. The last shipment's biggest torment was a postal holiday. No such complication for you guys so watching the USPS site will be more...er...fruitful? Fun?
I agree, anyone who's been on this forum knows if you are waiting for the latest update it doesn't take a person 96 pgs to figure out whether a item is going to be on sale. Flipping through the latest updated pages since Drew has last annouced when the Darwin is going to be avialable doesn't take rocket science. I been dealing with this company for a long time and there is no one, I mean one one who is as forthright/honest and will keep you up to date as Drew will. So some of you need to be a little more polite and patient when sending out your comments. Thats just my two cents. The DARWIN Rocks, I know I am going to have to get another.I don't think its appropriate to get nasty about not knowing and saying it seems fishy. Any new mod that has a following as this one does goes through this confusion in the beginning. It is no ones fault there are only so many to go around. We all just have to be patient and we shall all become a Darwin in due time.

What I am referring to as being a little fishy is the little hints that there have been to some kind of ordering list, when it is being denied. Please note....I am not the only one who has picked up on this fact.
If any of you remember the coop buy of clearomizers with Crimmy, I was one of those that jumped to his defense. I am one to give a guy the benefit of the doubt when needed. However, when I see evidence of an "unofficial" list and yet it is claim that there is no list....well, one has to question.

I'm sorry if you thought my post was unfair, but if you took the time to read enough of the posts in this thread, it was more than clear what Drew was talking about. No one else that I have seen saw anything fishy about it.
There was never mention of an unofficial list, not in ANY way. Before calling anyone fishy, maybe you should have nicely asked for clarification. He clearly stated that there would be NO list procedure for this upcoming batch. He mentioned there were a couple people that got unfairly bumped from their order last time that he was giving first dibs on a Darwin this time. He was actually trying to be FAIR to a couple customers. Do you really think he would publicly announce that he was keeping a few aside for his favorite people?
There is nothing wrong with making a mistake, as long as you're big enough to admit one was made.
Edit: The lists that you saw earlier on mentioned were simply when the first batch was close to being released, he had people put their names on a list and then they were offered the Darwins when they became available. Unfortunately, when the website said they were in stock, some people were unaware that there was a list procedure in place and placed orders through the website. When this happened, there were not enough Darwins available to satisfy the official orders (from the list) and the website orders. Thus the confusion. The recent mention of a couple people getting first dibs were the people on the official list last time that got bumped that he is making it up to them.
