Great response, NebulaBrot! Hey - muttSRT, I got to see your blue Darwin BEFORE you did. Brandon had the casing at the Atlanta Vape Fest. Real sweet looking.

Well that just aint right...lol

But you are correct, its real sweet looking and was incredible of Brandon/Evolv to do it...

I tried my Iken HV 801 up to the 12.7v just to see how it performed. The vape was warm not harsh, but the only thing was that the atomizer or I should say the(my) atomizer does get hot to touch fast. It did perform well with the atomizer but I didn't want to continue to risk my atomizer, I just wanted to see what it was like. I also tried Iken HV 901 and another HV 510 at that voltage, no damage to the atomizer tube itself gets too hot.
My best performance with the Darwin is Iken LR/HV 801's at 8.5, flavor and vape out of this world.

Thanks for the info andel

That blue is awesome! I said earlier in this thread that my wife doesn't want a Darwin because it is too masculine looking. She now has a pink Turbo AV and a pink eGo. If Evolve would make a pink one, she would buy it in a heartbeat.

I learned something yesterday- I tend to just sit my Darwin on my desk in the "on" position, and just pick it up and take a drag from time to time while I'm working. Yesterday was no exception. Well at 10pm I was setting up for a couple hours of playing Black Ops, I looked at the battery meter and was almost dead. I fully charged it the night before. So apparently leaving it on all day will drain the battery down pretty good- definitely not going to get 24hours out of it like that LOL. On the positive side- I hooked it up on the charger and started playing. I played for 15 minutes then took it off the charger (I couldn't use it as a PT because I had no outlets close enough). The charge was up to 3/4 in just 15 minutes! So I was able to play & vape for the next 3 hours with no concerns.

N2 that's nice.
Mine is a '01 Honda Spirit.
Did most the work myself.

AH, you like wrenching too- thumbs up!
Mine is a '99 that had 1000 miles on it when I bought it- I only paid $3k for it because of its age. I have easily put triple that amount into modifying it LOL. It now has over 50k miles on it.

For a while I was turnin it off after each use but I was wondering what the wear and tear would be of constantly open and closing the arm. While I have yet to reach the halfway mark on the battery indicator I woke up this morning and decided I would try leavin it on all day. I thought the lcd wasn't suppose to drain the battery to that extent but I'm gonna give it a try and see.
