The Darwin From Evolv!!!

I used a glv once at the VB Halloween vape and I rly liked the feel and the button, and love the colors. But when I was seriously looking to buy, I rly wanted vv. Then came Darwin and, well, it had exactly what I was looking for. Hands down, no contest.

Ditto....901's are my 1st choice by far.

Parallex, I'm kinda kicking myself for waiting so long to try these. What are you using there...a 510-901 battery extender adapter?

No, they don't. I think drip shields were designed for the 901. People are also using them with 510s with an adapter to raise the atty up to accommodate the shorter length of the atty. 510s and 901s are the same diameter (same drip tip size). 801s are much wider and the shield will not fit.

So how can you answer so definitively when...

I do not know, as I do not have a shield....

For those that are wondering, the drip shield does fit on 510's and 801's also. I haven't tried anything besides these 3 yet. SK, you could almost drive over to pickup up your Drip shield...lol!

Order Confirmation.. ... Only up to page 30 so far ... Good stuff.. I'm surprised however, that a lot of people are using cartos... I'm so not a carto fan, but might order some IKV 2ohm cartos here.

The fave cartos lately have been Drew's 510 dual-coil LR, his 801s and tonight the long-awaited 3.5ml 510, that Drew has worked very hard to bring more or less specifically to us Darwinians!

So was I! In fact, I thought the wonders of the Darwin fairly screamed for dripping so I was also stunned to watch the first round chatter about carto choices. Seriously perplexing.

I held out for a long, long time but started to wonder... If Darwinians are smart enough to use Darwins - to be Darwinians - and they use cartos...how bad could they be? Turns out, not bad at all.

Yes BB, I can get it on the 801, but it is much easier if you de-paper it first. Otherwise, it's pretty tight.

I have a drip sheild and he is right...They wont fit..He explains that the 801 cartos have a bump out on them that is fatter...You dont really need a dripsheild with the cartos because they wont really leak...If they do they will leak out of the bottom...Hope this helps...Thanks

The drip shield fits if you take the black paper off of it. I have done it.

What Drew said...only had leakage out the bottom and the drip shield wouldn't have stopped that. What I can't figure out is how folks are using these drip shields with 306s.

I have a (really bad, even though I put white paper behind it) picture of it with a 901...no adapter needed. How the heck are you guys using it with 306s?

Here's a picture of the Empire shield on one of Drew's 801's, stripped of black sticky paper. It is not providing any real functionality, but looks nice. I havent tried it on a 306.

You need the 510 to 510 adapter and a long 306 drip tip...I got one or two from Cisco at Vapefest...I think he has them on his site Avid Vaper...I heard if you say something nice about his hair he ships faster...lol
