Can someone explain why they like the 901? I'm on the edge with ordering them, but just not sure why they are so loved despite the leaking everyone talks about.

I would like to know as well. I've never tried a 901. Krispy? Did you get some?

Drew's shipping is so reasonable, I don't mind ordering a couple things. My stock is pretty good on just about everything else. L2S and I calculated that if the Govt shut vaping down tomorrow, we each have enough stock of hardware, disposables and juice to last 36 months minimally. Battery power would be the first problem, but batts wouldnt be illegal!

CG, we need a calculator to figure out stock/supplies. All I know is that since beginning to vape, I've been forced to clean out drawer after drawer after drawer (yes, Ski, I said drawers).

GREAT job on the nail art BLING, Parma! I blinged out my Riva, but not ready to do the D'win dance yet.

Gratz to Daniel on your choice of mods!

Hi to my SK and KB!

We could always start a shelter for darwinians...you and l2s get the vaping gear, someone else find enough food/water...

The Darwin Shelter is open. The Sicilian chick will bring the vino.

No but I do have a stack of those too! My wife wants to know "how many more packages do I really need". This is the first week in 8 months that nothing vaping related has hit the box! CC is screaming at me to place an order

Do you HAVE that new Drew pink pearlized battery? Huh, do you?

Quite the quantitative stash, dude. Impressive, to say the least!

I need to get into a habit of charging my Darwin at night when I'm asleep or at least every other night. It has such a ridiculously long battery life that I often forget that it actually does run out of power until I look down and its dead. Catches me off guard from time to time, but when it does die its when I can't even remember when I charged it last.

Hey Handaman,
The arm or Elbow isnt really connected to anything per se...It just fits in a groove in the case. Some were very tight and people will tell you that they have gotten looser as time goes by. If its not as tight as you would like you can try snugging ( being careful not to overtighten)up the 3 top screws (2 on either side of elbow and top corner) and that can tighten it up. It will not harm the functionality of the unit being tight or loose.
This is the same with the button. Its not really attached it just sits in the case and simply has no where to go, so some may notice theirs is s a little tighter or looser but it wont hurt the functionality either way.
Also for those that havent realized (which I didnt until it was pointed out to me) that only the upper half of the button requires pushing as thats the only part that really activates the internal contact. I was mashing the whole button for quite some time before I realized that less pressure is required to just press he upper (towards the atty connector) side of the button to activate easily.
Thanks
Drew

It's funny, I was just catching up on this thread this morning while using my Darwin and when I read your post, I looked down at my battery meter and I have only one bar left:shock:! Thank goodness I have a USB cable that I can use to charge it while I'm surfing the 'net!:p
Yea, gotta love the loooong Darwin life! I've been getting almost 2 days of vaping time. Not bad, huh?

Kat, I live on the West Coast but today I will be out of function. Giants Season Opener and I am off. Someone mentioned the 901's they have great flavor even at HV. Well it does for me. Talk to you guys later, I'm gone to enjoy some baseball.

One solution for the dripping vs spilling problem could be to make 510/510 extenders with a little well on the upper part. I guess it is not a big deal to create and could help the ones not that deep into the art of dripping.
Actually I never had this problem but rather the opposite: even with 5-7 droops the atty gets dry very shortly, just after a few puffs. Yeah I like high watts on my Darwin...

Hi everyone i got my darwin today and i am loving it vapes like a champ at 12 watts but i have a question does everyone elses attty connector have a good bit of play in it on mine the connector moves around quite a bit and rattles a little when i shake it lightly its not so much of a problem as it is annoying i just dont want to be the only one and then my connecter gets to loose and comes off

Being serious here, is it the whole arm assembly that's loose hamdamann? If so, Drew's right. The screws nearest the arm are most responsible for the arm "tightness" Be careful tightening, since they are brass screws and the heads will break off fairly easily.

I prefer 901's to 510's and a REALLY easy mod for 901 users is a One Dollar Drip Shield
