Good grief! Disappear for a couple of days and I fall way behind. Hubby got home on Wednesday after being on the road for 10 days, so i ducked out of here for a while. Yesterday was our 22nd anniversary so we spent the whole day cuddled up watching movies. I had almost forgotten how nice it was to do nothing. Of course now I have to catch up on all the forum posts and clean up my mess from dinner last night.

lowboy, that's REALLY cool. Enjoy it, both of you!

Heading off because I've decided that staying home and being sick is just fer the birds. I'm going out by hook or by crook and plan to party the sickness away!

Hello to the rest of the D'win fam. Hope all's well in gutter land;)

Evenin', Darwin family. I hope most of us have a nice long weekend to enjoy. I haven't received any vape mail in about four days and now will be waiting until after the holiday so I'm not going to stalk the USPS site for all the juice I'm laying in...wouldn't be a healthy thing to do for the ol' mental state. I can't figure out why I stock up like this since I literally never stop vape shopping.

Happy Anniversary, Parma! I'm glad you're feeling better too! :toast:

Lowboy, it's been awhile. Good to see you! :)

Kat, have a great time partying your way to good health!

LiPo is correct, Fen.

Brings a whole new meaning to liposuction...

LOL, I was just checking. If people aren't familiar with these, they should probably look into the dangers of them if they are improperly charged or happen to short circuit. Not trying to scare anyone, just wanted to give everyone a heads up. I was in the R/C hobby for awhile and was using lipo batteries. You just have to be a bit more cautious than you would with say a lithium ion or a123 cell. The good thing about lipo batteries is that they pack a serious punch.

Actually LiPo are safer than Li Ion...These are Li Polymer packs with overlay prtection circuits, on the board as well as the Pack....The same batteries you have in your IPad or Cell phone...They are the safest technology around... There have been numerous accidents documented with the unprotected Li Ion and 123s...Most Lions are not rated for the higher amps that Ecigs draw....Thats why many have started using IMR High Drain batteries... Li Po4 are also safer technology... I dont even sell the other Li Ions because of it...

Good to know.

Okay, it is true someone made the mistake of giving me alcohol. It's Friday. I've had a rough week. Hell, except for the Darwin arriving in my mailbox my whole year's been kinda rocky. So, maybe my being sentimental and mushy has a teeny bit to do with that mistake but...here we go...

Aren't you glad you took a shot and got your Darwin? The past couple days as I picked it up I noticed the whole form factor thing again. I regularly run at least three mods with different flavors and, inevitably, I'm holding the Darwin the most. There is literally no other PV like this. And, that's that. So...there ya go. And, another thing...I should drink more. I don't know why I don't. :toast:

Yeah I read a little more about it after I posted. I think its the r/c specific lipo batteries that can really be dangerous due to user error. It looks like they have advanced quite a bit when it comes to consumer electronics and e cigs. I was looking into the lifePO4 ( lithium iron phosphate ) when I was running r/c and know that they are the safest batteries out.

Sew, I'll have one for you tonite! You like gin/tonic/double lime twist, right?

Glad to see we got the battery issue cleared up. We don't want a bunch of Darwinians all saying "UH OH" at the same time.
Thanks Drew, for the info.

Nite nite D'win Family. Off to the races! (Partying my way to good health, good one, Sew!)

Middle of nowhere
No post in two days........Wow
Well today was not good.
Lost one of my three babies at 3p.m. today.
He was at least 16 years old.
I will miss him so much.
He was one of our kids. Especially since my son and daughter moved out a few years ago.
Sad part still is I have one more that is just a year younger.
It will be hard to sleep tonight knowing he is not there in the bed with us.
Sorry I'm just a little depressed right now and had to ease my mind. Hope everyone understands.
