Guess it's not so OK in OK today! 102? Yikes, retird, I feel for you. The weather all across our US of A is particularly dramatic lately. I'm thinking about the heat in your area, in Florida, raging wild fires, and I'm looking out my window at drizzle. Yep, drizzle. High of 70 here today. (13 degrees below average)

But then again, our weather is more expensive than most...

Yikes.... Sorry I've been away from Darwinville for so long guys and gals. Work has been absolutely nutso lately. I'm all caught up on this forum now though and I need a link to the "Jumbotron Dual Core Cartos" that you guys have been talking about. I'm nearing that wonderful time of the year where I do a massive order of cartos and atty's and I want to give them a try too. Drew has a few different jumbo cartos and I want to make sure I get the ones you guys and gals are raving about.

Hey all!

I'm a lucky new Darwinian! Best vape of my life so far! Having a slight problem with the brass threads...

Congratulations and welcome, Chinner! If you're carefully screwing down your atty or carto each time, making sure to match the lean, tilt or straight up direction of the connector, threading vape vessels will be problem free. Is it enough of a problem to prevent you from vaping happily?

Enjoy! :vapor:

Hey all!

I'm a lucky new Darwinian! Best vape of my life so far! Having a slight problem with the brass threads, but based on what I've manaed to read on this epic thread, evolv really sounds like they stand by their products! Glad to be here! Yay Darwin!!

Cheers!

Welp, look who's here! Hi Chinner! Did you ever get that PP account going? Great to see you here!

Most Darwinians actually use a 510 extender so as not to be concerned with the threading issue. Might be something for you to consider.

Cheers back at you!

Hey, VAPIN'! Long time, buddy. Yes, Drew has been busy solving all our vape vessel issues and now it's a matter of choosing from many instead of just a few good ones.

I prefer the 510 or 801 2ohm Jumbotron dual coils and Drew seems to be the only ones to carry the 2ohms. The 801s, by the way, work great on my Woodvil which runs hot so 2 is the perfect ohmage. I'm getting a a Giantomizer or two next order. Previously I wasn't as taken with them as I thought I'd be but I'm sure Drew saw to it issues were fixed before putting them on the site. Can't wait.

The G5's have sturdier tubes and they hold a 'taster's' amount of liquid at high ohms. I'm not getting any leakage , flavors stay true and they're traveling well. And, the price is good for them right now - good time to stock up.

I also like the GREEN - has to be green - VPX Mini tanks because they hold just the right amount of liquid - not so much that you're stuck with one flavor but not so little you have to carry a hypodermic. 3.2ohms mean I can really tailor my vape on the Darwin.

Welcome back VAPIN'.

I think you are talking about the dual coils that we all love. There are "jumbos" and there are "colossals", holding 1.8 mL and 3.5 mL. Here's a couple of links for you:

Low Resistance 510 Dual Coil Jumbo Blank Cartomizers
New Varying Resistance Dual Coil 510+801 Colossal Cartomizers

By the way, they also come in a clear version, which is my preference.

The Darwin added another International trip. No problems with security and if it was not for the Darwin this past weeks meetings would have been more hellish than they already were. For those that question the durability of the unit ----- Mine took a nice tumble to a tile floor at Schiphol Airport this morning and it is just fine. Even hit face first on the screen side. Time for some couch surfing. Happy vapes all!

SKI BABY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Welcome home, Ski. This is the second time you flung your Darwin at the ground, isn't it? LOL! I'm joking, I'm really glad it's ok.

But... what? It's getting a baby brother? "An heir and a spare" eh? Clever.

Missed you. It's been like a bit like a wind tunnel in here lately.

KD and I feel like that wind tunnel is in my head too. I am losing track of weeks and trips are piling up like mad. Bought the extra Darwin since after today I was thinking what would I do if it really kicked on one of these trips. I would be ... out. So a spare sounded like a good idea. Maybe I will put that charge on my expense account :). I hope you have finally kicked that sickness.

Hey thanks for the welcome!

Yeah I heard you have to be careful withe the threading. As you can see, I'm in Canada, so this was a classified local score for me, the seller still has it under warranty, it was bought new in February and from what Ive heard, the CS is outstanding.

The problem seems to be be the center pin on the Darwin. It sticks up so high, that there's hardly any threads there to bite. I've been able to get a very select few items on it, but they never look or feel quite right, so in a nutshell my vaping existence in non existent right now. I went and compared it to a local friend who has a darwin, and he has twice the threads visable as mine. I'm sure I could force a 510 extension on it, but that kinda kills the versatility and resale value. Having used another I know something's not quite right!

I'll keep you informed!

Hello Friend!

I turned up after getting lucky and scoring one of these beauties! Trouble in paradise, but once I get it resolved, I'm certain I've found my ultimate vape!

As for paypal, yes I opened an account! Unfortunately buying a Darwin has pretty much brutalized my wallet, so my paypal sits empty for now lol..

I plan on using an extender, but the one I have won't thread to it properly, so in an effort not to cause more damage I left it alone.

So looks like I'm returning it to the guy I bought from. Great seller, but it makes me wonder if I'll ever get my hands on a Darwin again! :(

Thanks SK. I only wish I was home for more than two days. I have to head to Boston Tuesday, but at least that is a drive and not a flight. No need to stealth it in rental car.

And it is fantastic to be able to vape right in your hotel rooms, isn't it? And, I love Boston - hope you have time to eat well!
