So I had the option of a refund, or the sellers alternate unit. I'm pretty much screwed for the warranty up here anyways, and the likelyhood of seeing another Darwin around here is slim at best, so I took a chance and now once again have a fully functional Darwin in my possession! If it dies or breaks I'm effed, but till then, I'm back in vapers Mecca!

Chinner, if you are concerned about the connection get a 510 to 510 adapter and snug it in (NOT torqued - just snug) and leave it in. If you need another adapter for other than 510 gear, you can stack on top of the 510 to 510. This way you will have full connector depth and will not ever risk any threading issue. A few of the early ones did come out a bit shallow but this is an easy and dependable cure.

KD and I feel like that wind tunnel is in my head too. I am losing track of weeks and trips are piling up like mad. Bought the extra Darwin since after today I was thinking what would I do if it really kicked on one of these trips. I would be ... out. So a spare sounded like a good idea. Hello Friend!

I turned up after getting lucky and scoring one of these beauties! Trouble in paradise, but once I get it resolved, I'm certain I've found my ultimate vape!

As for paypal, yes I opened an account! Unfortunately buying a Darwin has pretty much brutalized my wallet, so my paypal sits empty for now lol..

I plan on using an extender, but the one I have won't thread to it properly, so in an effort not to cause more damage I left it alone.

So looks like I'm returning it to the guy I bought from. Great seller, but it makes me wonder if I'll ever get my hands on a Darwin again!

The guy I bought from had two, so he gave me his personal one and took my screwed one back, to deal with the warranty himself. So my new one has a few more miles on it maybe, but I'd still rather have a used Darwin then none at all haha!

And to nebula, I will take your advice, luckily enough I have a custom gooseneck for this thing that's working like an extension for now. When I figure out how to do it, I'll post some pics of my set up!
