Actually, I hooked up a wall charger to a 50 foot extension cord the day I got mine so I could take it all over the house and charge it while using it. And, don't any of you laugh at me. You all know you just wish you had thought of that. HeHe!

I would have worried if you said you hooked it up to a portable generator and carried it around :)

LOL! So I ordered the dual coil clear jumbo cartomizer 2.5 ohm and I must say after only taking a few hits on it since the darwin is charging that the ce2 clearos I have suck compared to this. I can even crank it up a bit :) If I try to crank up the ce2 at all it gets too hot. It might be a little better with the 3 ohm clearos but I got the 2.6 ohm ones. I thnk this unit will be going to the bar with me today lol.

CE2 is more of a 'quick puff' platform. Hit the button for only a second or two and do a fast short draw all the way into the lungs...more like puffin' a regular ciggy. Longer burns will indeed get them hot. Dualies and big stuff like the 801 are right the opposite....take really long burns and looooooooooong slow draws.

Yea, I definately noticed that. I think I will have to order some more dual coils :)

Used mine as a PT on Day 1 as well, Parma, but didn't think to get a 50 foot extension cord! Great idea! Did that cord give you enuf length to even get into the bathroom (with the baggies)? You're one creative Darwinian!

Doesn't the battery work more then 3 days for you. I just charge it when I go to bed. I usually don't forget 3 nights in a row :p

For me it HIGHLY depends on what I'm rockin' with the Darwin.
Dualies drain it pretty fast for me! (the highest resistance dualies I've tried so far are 2Ohm) 4 to 6 hours maybe.
LR atties/cartos take mine down faster too.

For me I find that I get a longer lasting battery with really high resistance stuff. Voltage goes up, but the current/amps drop way down. I.E. The 901 5 Ohm atty I'm vaping on now only draws 1 amp at 5watts. If I switch over to a 3 Ohm atty...the same pixie setting of 5watts pulls over 1.5 amps.

I find I can suck on something like a 3 Ohm CE2 Giant at around 5 Watts for up to 11 Hours. (2 to 4 second burns). It'll last me all day and into the next morning.

I have 2 Darwins, so my batteries last more like 4 days if I let them go. I never let them get past half way though because the batteries will actually have a longer life if you keep them on the full side. The extension cord I only used the first day so I could charge them and use them at the same time.

Kat: My house is actually a small square. So by plugging the cord in the dining room (which is the middle for me) I could reach every room and get about 10 feet out the front door.

Wasn't there some inside photos of this somewhere? I was tempted to open it to fix the arm but scared to death that everything is going to fly out like a jack in the box!
I know a few people have taken them apart but I don't recall ever seeing any photos. I do remember seeing it mentioned that taking it apart voids the warranty though.

Well NB that would certainly take care of a days worth of vaping! Tough to get in the carryon though.

"Carry-on" is no issue. Notice my sig-line? there isn't a flight itinerary I can't make it thru with power to spare. But, if the power ever goes out, I can recharge off this bad-boy for at least a month or two!

Big huge congrats on becoming part of the D'win family, panky! I'm sure you are enjoying it a LOT!

Oh yea, I took it to the bar with me and used my dual coil carto. Beautiful at 5v (10watts)

Panky, don't forget to breath a little "regular" air, the rest of this weekend...

I will try not to forget. I really will :)
