Kat sent me the short one and it works great. I like that one over the longer one since you can still see the screen, flip the arm and see the button.

 I want a pic because mine has the threadlocked extender and it's really hard to get it in the case with my cannon tip on it. I am curious about how it fits in the small one because I don't put it on my belt. I just like to have it in the case when I am out somewhere in case it gets knocked over or something.

Ski, why is your hand all different colors? Ha! Never mind... don't think I want to know. ;)

It is the neon light in the man cave. It is blue. Thanks for the bettter Pics NB.
BTW KD you go blind from too much of that, your hands do not turn colors. Still taking applications for a man cave pole dancer though or maybe a tarp and oil spreader :)

Where would I acquire one of those "shorty" cases? I've got one that Drew sent, but it doesn't get much use 'cos I can't see/adjust the wattage that I've dialed in. Being able to see the button would be a bonus, of course. I just can't bring myself to (re)read 729 pages to find the source of these.. TIA..

Ah, come on, there is alot of good info in these 729 pages.......

FYI, the "shorty" case I received (see Nebula's pics) came from Nhaler

PV Carrying Case

Select "small".......

cant wait for ma darwin, should be here monday! When I held saw it/tried it in person I was sold. Pics don't do it justic - I thought it was plastic at first :D .

Just curious, from what I've read it has two lithium polymer batteries - 1800mah TOTAL or 1800mah EACH?

Also, this particular one I bought off another member was gotten in january so im assuming its one of the first, after you turn on the device, can you bring down the atty at all or does it have to be straight to stay on?

Bat is a LI-PO and it has one on board, I think it is around 900 mah. Someone will correct me if I am wrong on the mahs. Anyway you can vape with the arm in any position as long as it is not closed all the way. That is the off position.

Enjoy the Darwin and welcome to the club

My understanding from a Russian site that took one apart is that there 2ea LiPo 900mAh for 1800mAh batteries. Polymer Li-Ion 10C 3.7V 900mAh
30501-Tenergy-Li-Polymer-602566-900mAh-10C The specs are on this site http://www.tenergybattery.com/index...facturer_id=0&option=com_virtuemart&Itemid=27

I love my Darwins but they are shure tight on putting out info...It would be good if they put out a spec sheet or any documentation instead of having to dig all over the place for info.

google lipo602566. Tough to see how thick they are but I guess maybe two are sandwiched in there. If that is the case then yes 1800mah sounds right. BTW - Thanks and earlier in the week retird posted that Russian link in the thread. Hard to read but the pics were nice

That is correct. 2 - 900mah LiPo's in series, laid length- wise in the body. Essentially, the Darwin is all battery from just right of the screen all the way to the USB connector. Don't ask me how I know this.... It came to me in a dream...
