I got burnt being the first to try something new once. Now I read, read, and read.
If it has a 75% approval rate then I get in line.

After being a victim of the EQ recall, I just placed an order for the Darwin!
I'm now on board, boys & girls!
I got lucky and they were in Stock!! Boo-Yeah!
Oh yeah, bought a gooseneck v2 from totally twisted, too....now I think I need an empire dripshield or a tank.
you won't regret it Drum. Works well with the gooseneck and shield and or liquinator.
idk the eq is one big ugly overpriced looking thing. seems like they went "back to the drawing board" a buncha times and got so much hype surrounding it that they just had to "settle" for something... Kinda like what happened with duke nukem forever.

Anyway, decided to get my darwin ASAP. Made my decicion based on everything I red about it here/ watch at youtube. Seems that this:

yesterday added video by Scott is the only negative one about it. I really hope that the button isn't as bad as Scott claims it is. The tank issue he mentions isn't going to problem for me as I'm going to get gooseneck to use darwin woth my liquinator.

yesterday added video by Scott is the only negative one about it. I really hope that the button isn't as bad as Scott claims it is. The tank issue he mentions isn't going to problem for me as I'm going to get gooseneck to use darwin woth my liquinator.

I am not sure what he said about the button but when I get a chance to watch the whole video in a little while I will let you know.
Well I watched it and he just keeps rambling on about the button. I have used 3 different darwins and the button was not hard to push in my opinion. The button can get stuck on the older ones but it seems to be only when you push it to the side while it is pressed. The button on the new one that I have is perfect. As far as the tank issue goes, I don't think that the darwin was meant for using a freaking UFS on it... or even a bulli tank 
so it is ridiculous to even factor that in to a review. As far as the looks go, I am not sure who told him that it was meant to be pretty. I would much rather have something that is strange looking but thin and fits in my pocket. Not to mention that it outperforms mods that are much larger. Good luck carrying a GG or provari in your pocket with a tank or UFS on it 
Everyone is different though and at least he did an honest review but obviously the device isn't for him. Also, you have to play with it for a while before you realize what it is really capable of.

Thanks Panky, just what I needed to hear. As I said earlier, I already decided to get Darwin. Need more watts, egos batteries just don't give enought power...
I was in the same boat. Started with an ego-t and eventually bought an LR 306 atty and started dripping. After that I started looking for a mod and it took quite a while to make the decision but I am glad that I did
Please just disregard all posts by Ski, Krispy, Cuse, and Katdarling. If you do that, it'll take like 10 minutes to get thru.
Oh but you'll have to add an extra minute or so for Nebula's posts, but those will be worth it.
