I've had an email from Evolv stating that the power is internally regulated, and that any mini USB charger would be fine to use. So for other Darwin users out there, if it fits, it will charge safel. Any mini USB is fine!

The true appreciation of the Darwin will come in a few days as you realize how much you hated carrying spare batteries and having your hit die off as the batteries did. Just plug it in at night with your cell phone and it won't let you down. Do remember this battery does not like to be fully drained and if you charge every night you probably won't. But, if you do see the bar creeping under half (the first half of the bar decreases slowly where the last half goes pretty quick), plug it in!

Got my first darwin today! Sweetdevice! Fits nicely into my pocket, a vv I can take it out without feeling like I'm carrying a pipe bomb filled with lead around!

That is one of the many things that I love about the device. It is my first mod so I can't really compare it to anything but I can imagine trying to carry around one of those round mods in my pocket 
Darwins are great "power regulating" PV's......To me "Darwin" and "VV" cannot be used together in the same sentence.......since you do not set the voltage, you set the wattage (power)....Got my first darwin today! Sweet

Did you get it new or on the classies? I am liking the mini gooseneck too I can't close mine with the cannon tip on my IKV 306 because it goes almost all the way down but with other ones like the custom ones that Drew has, it will close with minimal scraping.dont tell me that! now I gotta be super careful with it
Ya, I got it off classifieds. The gooseneck is a 3" I got from a local supplier that gets them from something twisted texas, dont really know. I think its one of those things where they resell them to other suppliers to sell to locals only.
With mega 510 cartos and a drip tip it extends about half an inch beyond the device which is no problem for me, before I put the gooseneck on I made sure the threads of both were nice and clean, put some noalox on with an old toothbrush and smoothly screwed it in. Don't forsee taking it out anytime soon
