I checked in to the (latest) provari/darwin thread as well. I wish everyone understood this regulated thing, and how important it is. There is no need to brag about how LR an atty/carto you can use, or high of voltage you can crank it up to, that is pointless.

Also, coming up, watch for my ultimate physical stress test of Darwin.

Gee and thought Stownz was the ultimate physical stress tester of the Darwin:) Looking forward to whatever you have up your sleeve NV.

hey, i saw you post on my forum, i have 99% decieded to go with the darwin because of the wattage thing, ohms law is the way to go, loli know the provari is a good system, but i think the darwin will be more of what im lookign for. prolly my main setup will be darwin with a gooseneck and liquinator for on the road and get a drip shield with 510 for dripping for home... thanks for all the help guys!

lol, i would love to try both of them... but as i said before im a poor college student, lol im gonna start off with thedarwin and try another mod prolly around christmas, or maybe wait for a new version of the darwin to come out, cuz im sure ill be in love! lol

I am certain you will like it and since you will be walking around campus you will most likely find the portability a big plus

Here's another thing about the Darwin that makes it stand out from the rest...late Friday morning I noticed mine wasn't hitting right. The numbers were off for current and ohms and some atty's were being reported as bad even though they measured fine with a multimeter. I used the support request on Evolv's web site and received a response in about 20 minutes. He agreed that something wasn't right and shipped OVERNIGHT a replacement! The new one showed up yesterday afternoon and works great. That is unmatched customer service.

I've dealt with several vendors for PV's, some good some bad, but nothing comes anywhere close to this level of commitment to a product and its customers. Something to consider when spending your $$ on an advanced PV, you can have peace of mind with a Darwin that you will have the same customer service from Evolv that Drew has always given us.

Green! make sure thats in the colors!,
guys i have put my final decision and reasoning my original thread if anyone cares to read it, thanks for all the help. seems like the only real viable problem i could read about was the sturdyness of it. although some say its pretty sturdy through drops and stuff, has it been cosidered to make a a shock absorber or rubber glove for it of some sort? like a cell phone case sort of thing. just an idea!

Mine are chameleons, I changed the drip-tips and one day they adjusted themselves accordingly!

Hmm, Neb, I'm trying it now. It's not changing. I'll try another tip. Still no change. Ok, let me try this one.

Still nothing. One more. Darnit. Nothing. Let's try this pink one. This doesn't work. Ok, a blue one. Nada.

Zip, zilch, niente!

Wait!

OMG.

I can't believe it!

My D'win is rainbow colored now!!! Try this you guys! It really works! Then pass it on to 17 friends so they too can get their money... oh never mind.
