I doubt they're painted, doesn't look like an aftermarket modification. It's easy enough to do with dyes during the anodizing process

Maybe I'm just weird, but I like my black Darwin and really can't picture another color that would really appeal to me on it

I've been keeping it connected for charging and use near the computer, but the USB cable seems to wiggle a lot more than I'd expect and just want to know if it's something that's expected or if I need to be careful with it. ...

that does seem to be happening to people. If there is a huge concern, contact brandon.

I sent back my first darwin with a issue and he fixed it lickity split and got it back. It works flawlessly now. great service!

Mine does NOT wiggle.
Can you tell if it wiggles at solder points or if the entire board moves?
If the entire board is moving, I doubt it will cause failure or anything (it might even help it last longer), if it is stressing mount/solder points I'd definitely have it looked at.

I believe so, mine is also the same way, they probably leave play in it like that on purpose is what I was thinking Vapian, let's see what others have to say.

uh oh, i dropped my darwin in a cup of coffee, head down, i grabbed it immediately, it still works but display isnt showing anything but the backlight works, anyone ever done this before?
i read somewhere that after drying out it should work fine
?
