Yeah, I love my Provari and I am a full time tank user... But its very heavy carrying it around all day in my straight legged khakis... I am ready to take the plunge... 15-20% and I would have been waiting on the tracking number...

Chief I also have a Vari and it is a great unit but like you have found it is not really pocket and out and about freindly. The Darwin on the otherhand fits nice in a pair of jeans or a suit coat. I take my Darwins everywhere. The Vari gets used in the lazyboy and never gets out much.

Do you use a tank? I can't give it up to be honest... I can't go back to dripping again...

To be honest I use tanks on the Vari and other Mods I have but I been using Iken Fusion and V-2 cartos with nHaler colored and twisted DT's for months now on the Darwins. Others here use tanks, atty's and whatever you what to throw at this unit. For me the cartos on the Darwin just seem to be the sweetspot and allow me to whip this thing out with minimal fuss no matter what I am doing. I can also honestly say that I like this unit enough that I have more than one. Being a Vari owner I did not think there was anything better and waited awhile to get a Darwin. Now the Darwin sees about 90% of my vaping throughout the day. You will enjoy the portability, versatility and consitency of this unit.

Thanks! I'm almost there... How's the battery for a 3-5 mil LR vapor a day?

Batt life is off the hook!!!! You do not need the LR stuff though since you just dial in your favorite watts and the Darwin does the rest. I hit it hard and blast through 8 - 10mls a day. An average day for me is 18 hours and even when I was running one Darwin I could not deplete the batt. When running Dual coils at 1.5 ohm though I could kill it in about 12 hours. Those things are tough on any batt. Also you can charge the unit off a USB. Since I travel often this is a plus. No charger and batts to pack.

Chief, I do not use LR on mine, only 3.0 ohm cartomizers at 8.5 watts, and usually vape about 3 ml per day...I charge the battery every other night, but I think I could actually go three days.....hope this helps....I like my vaping simple....Darwin, cartomizer, juice....thats it......guess I found my happy place.......

I find with LRs the battery lasts all day (about 5ml per day) with a little charge left when I plug it in at night. With SRs you'll easily get 2 days + on a charge. Honestly, if most of what I have on hand wasn't already LR I wouldn't bother with LR on this thing anymore. You can get the same vape from an SR as an LR on the Darwin no problem since you set the wattage you want and everything else auto-adjusts to maintain that, but with the added bonus of not draining the batt as fast

EDIT: I type too slow :p I keep finding myself repeating other people's posts . . .

Ugh... Sounds great, just $200 seems better to me then $245 lol... It's a no brainer, just had to say it.

Totally understand. For me it is a little easier since smokes are $10 a pack and I was 1.5PAD smoker. In those terms the Darwin is a little more than two weeks of smoking and I get a nice neat toy instead of empty pack and butts. That is what I tell my wife anyway when Vaping gear comes to the house each week!!!!

I guess that you might eventually find a used one in the classy's for 200.00....New ones have never been 200.00. I agree, a new one for 200.00 would be sweet.......I researched long and hard before my purchase, and never looked back....good luck on your deliberations......happy vapin, bro....

We will be here to try to answer any other questions....

I'm a CE2 fan and used a self-built tank some on my Darwin. Of course the arm doesn't close with the larger tank system attached, but I had no problem leaving the arm up at about 160 degrees or more and tucking Darwin on my back pocket with the screen facing outward and the USB end down in the pocket. Drew offers a couple of different sizes of belt holders that work great with a Darwin.

I don't have one of the nice new belt sheathes with mine (not really needed for me), but with one of those you can probably strap it right on and walk around with a large tank no fuss. I do think new Darwin orders come with one :)

Here lately I've ditched the tank and been enjoying the eGo sized stuff for long days on the road...many of those can hold dern near 4ml of liquid and will usually last all day for me no problem. Several types and brands out there these days, things like Giantomizers, Visions, Echo, Mega510, Ego Sized Dual Coil, and the list just keeps growing.

The eGo sized cartos all open and close for me on the Darwin since I hook them up with a few extension pieces.

Well out of boredom, I added a black/chrome provari to cart with the extender cap, one battery, charger, and extended warranty because I believe that would be the closest equivalent to the darwin since it's black. I am at $265 at the moment. Just sayin' Darwin already has the warranty, charges with any mini usb but it comes with a charger as well, doesn't need extra batteries, and even comes with a case ;)

I am now stalking the tracking number. Looking forward to checking it out.
Are there any Darwin users with the G-tank? I am curious to find out if the arm closes with the G-Tank?
I hope so.
Think you are going to like it.........I don't have a g-tank.....seems I saw one on a Darwin somewhere.....

Can't argue with you there... I haven't bought a cigarette in so long, I have however, sampled many many mods out there over the past few years. Not to mention, I always buy 2 of everything because of my fiance... So, pinching pennys for me Definetly helps.
