So, it's NOT good to be the King.

'Gratz, Ski, on scoring 3 TTs!

Your Beta Team representative~

Nah he would probably dislike those too. I can hear it now "I spent $25 on glass TT, I dropped it on the floor, then stepped on it and it chipped. TT's suck".

Anyway I have a nice pile of loot heading my way after this weekends impulse buying. Besides the TT's I have some nice AW 18500's and 18650's, A Black Silver Bullet, some Riva batts (I keep leaving them places and happy its them and not a mod) and maybe that damned GLV3 with feeder will ship. vape on KD

Man that King Greg guy is a strange one. I understand if he doesn't like the Darwin, but he is literally making things up about it. If he really had a bad experience, OK, it happens. But he says he returned it 4 or 5 times which Drew says is not true, won't really tell people what is wrong with his unit and now he's making up things about the internals of the Darwin. Does he work for a competitor, is he just a fan-boy of the other camp, what?
First of all I would like to Thank everyone for their input on this thread and constructive criticisms throughout...
Secondly you were dead on in your posts about his inaccurate, information and inability to answer the questions.
1. There are no Plastic switches
2. There is no way the arm could ever spin 360 degrees
3. Why is he, NOT answering the question about The Darwin, a loaner that he never returned (therefore Stolen) and continues to divert from why he didn't have it repaired and sell it.

I think those that care will be able to read through his posts and see where the fault lies here...

The weirdest thing about the whole thread is that I have never received any any repair requests from he OP of the thread. The item she is upset with are easily fixed and completely covered under The Warranty??? Oh well I guess we will see where that goes.

Thanks again to EVERYONE that posted and showed your Trust in Evolv and NHaler.
Drew

what happened with this king george guy? i cant find any of the posts, not that id take anything he says to heart, but im just interested. for anyone out there reading those and thinking if their darwin breaks, they are not gonna fix it, dont believe it, i havnt sent my darwin in yet, ut when emailing brandon to ask about a repair, i received a response in ten minutes with an address and personal response to what he thought the problem might be... i havnt sent it in yet cuz its a minor problem and im waiting for some back up stuff so im not left without a darwin, second drew is by far the fastest responder ive come across, last time i recieved a DOA atty, emailed him and i believe it was 20 - 30 mins when i got a response saying, sorry it took so long to get back to you...r u kidding me? 20 mins ? i dont need an apology! i didnt expect a response at least a day! replacement for the atty was sent out immediatly along with an extra and a sample juice.. if you have a problem with the darwin or anything from nhaler, you do NOT have to be scared that they wont respond or wont fix the problem. Drew and Brandon have the best and personalized customer service there is in the biz.. so to you guys, thank you! to fellow darwinians, you can ignore this you already know what im taking about, and to buyers contemplating getting one, just do it, youwont regret it, and if you do, you can sell it within minutes in the classies!

I saw him first when he was trying to sell his "broken" Darwin and lashed out when ppl asked him to describe the damage or how much he was willing to sell it for. We have to be mindful that there are all kinds of ppl on forums - he may really believe what he is saying if you know what I mean.

I'm so pumped that I'm going to get a New (to me) Darwin. I have SR Boge and 3ohm dc cartos - not planning on using the Darwin w/ a tank (just got 1 for my ProV) is there anything else I must have to get the full shebang from the Darwin? Help/suggestions appreciated.

Huff - Welcome to Darwinia.....it is a short trip to get here.....there are alot of great folks here that vape an assortment of atty's, carto's, tanks, DCA's, and more.....I vape simple and just use 3.0 ohm Boge carto's and occasionaly (1%) the 306 DCA (with a 3.0 ohm atty). Other Darwinians are more creative...surely they will help you out with ideas....they are good about that....

From my experience so far I'd say that whatever you can fit on your Darwin, it will let you get the most/best out of it. The biggest question will be whether you can close the arm with your favorite attachment. :)

I've tried a lot of things and been able to get great results, but one word of warning: if you need an adapter to make the connection, make sure it's a good quality adapter and check it for shorting before you use it.

After getting my Darwin repaired for a failed current sensor, I was told that a shorted adapter can cause that kind of failure over time (after numerous repeated attempts to fire continue to encounter that high-current condition). In checking my adapters out I have found that all four of my 510-to-GoGo adapters are either permanently shorted or intermittently shorting.

I have a batch of new ones with a different design coming in soon that I hope won't have that problem, but it seems there's a good chance the ones I have now are what caused the problem in the first place.

Beyond that, just pay attention to the Darwin's display and if it shows you any icon or display you don't recognize, STOP! and figure out what the problem is.

Huff - glad you found the land of Darwinia. Sure we are a little wacky but what the hell life is short. Certainly you will enjoy the new toy and like many of us you may find yourself sleeping with it.

Well, maybe after I get to know it a little better

Darwin totally rocks, my favorite set up is pictured below, I enjoy HV 3-3.5ohm Atty's best on it and to be able to feed the Atty instead of dripping and with this new Trippy Tip I received today not one drop of liquid comes back up to the mouth anymore, the Darwin is just the most awesome PV on the planet, I'm getting a 2nd very soon ! Hopefully Santa puts something else in a box for me that I can "Kick" round some too:2cool:
