Nice work! Cant wait till you get them up for sale - will get right in line - PP in hand. I'm looking for a good tank can't seem to find one that works for me. Doesn't necessarily have to be a Darwin tank (althought that would be sweet). I had a DC Map and a Liquidnator and found them to be difficult to refill. My ideal tank would have a way to syringe fill - hated taking them apart to top 'em off.

Huff I assume you have seen CG's work on the nHaler site right??? Those VPX tanks are made by him and in my opinion they freakin rock!!! You all know how I love my Darwin's but you just have to see how nice the VPX tanks look on my Vari and Rough Stack:

BTW those are Drews pyrex DTs. I have used many different cartos in these bad boys. No leaks and killer vape. I do however slot my cartos versus piercing them.

My only hesitation is that I hated taking the tops off of the Map and Liquidnator tanks - . How are these to refill?

Huff I do not remove the cap. I simply slide the tank up, remove DT, slide needle (on a 30ml dropper bottle) between cap and carto and fill in about 3 secs. Then slide tank back down and go to town.

Over-nic'd tonight still can't go 2 sleep. So glad you told me that. Now it's something that makes sense - couldn't figure how that could be so messy. Thanks for the tip!

Huff it is only messy if you are doing it right ------ oh wait that applies to the other hobbie:evil: Which reminds me maybe I should put the PV down for a bit and go play in the box the kids came in :) Enjoy the weekend Huff!!!

Greetings Darwinians, hope that's the right terminology still :)

Quick question, do all these recent upgrades (better precision in the dial, stiffer swing arm, built in adapter\extension, no longer screen flickers, blue screen, etc.), I've read about in this thread, now come standard now when purchasing a new Darwin on the nHaler site or were these upgrades just added to the Darwins for those that had to send theirs in for warranty service??

Thanks for the help and input :)

Well now, i have one less thing to whimper about; i learned how to fill an XL Stainless carto! i can fill a CE2 as well, but why does the CE2 taste bad?

I got some ages ago that I just pulled apart and torched the wicks good before using. Made a big difference.
If I couldn't get it apart, I just flushed the thing out the best I could with a syringe full of PGA or distilled water.

It's not the mess per se that bothers me - I treat my PVs like they are made of glass. Thinking about it though is why a tank would actually be better on the Darwin - no worries about the juice leaking into where the components are. The arm makes sense for that.

ED- I just got one from the classies that is a few weeks old. Swing arm is solid and the wheel is perfect. I was kind of afraid to buy one due to some of the comments I read about the arm but it's an amazing mod. Everthing about it is solid.
