Yeah I guess I'm a fairly heavy vaper too now with using the Provari and Darwin especially and I can't get through a day with one charge on a Darwin and I find an 18650 lasts longer which is why I was asking if a bigger battery is possible. But if you're at a computer or near an outlet with I think somebody said a 2A wall adapter to USB cord you can use it like a passthrough sorta and get much better life that way. You could have a cord plugged in your computer and one near your chair and chain vape away unless it gets in somebody's way. Also someone said you can leave it plugged into your USB indefinitely and it will stop charging when full, I do it while it's off and I'm using something else and then I'll check if it's full and unplug it just in case.

Very good. Sounds like there is nothing wrong with the device, then. I'll just adjust and charge when possible during the day. In any even, I don't mind having another mod on me. I do enjoy the Provari as well, and I always like having options of what to vape. Maybe some day they will make a model with a bigger battery. Till then, it's still a wonderful device!

After too many years of bad credit, I have learned the sweet spot on a credit card. Use it to pay for monthy gas/food/clothes/bills, up to as much as 30% of it's limit. Pay it to zero each month, never carry a balance. As a paranoid computer security guy, this goes contrary to my instincts of "pay everything only in un-marked ten dollar bills, while wearing a fake beard and Groucho Marx glasses". But, it does make your credit rating go up, if that matters.

Nope nothing's wrong, mate I can get over two days if I'm using CE2's the whole time, since I keep them at a fairly low wattage (under 6, sometimes as low as 5). Basically, the higher the amp draw the faster you drain the batt, so using lower resistances or higher wattage settings will kill it faster. Using a mix of 3 ohm Boge cartos at 7-8 watts and dual coils of various resistances at 10+ watts, I can still get all day out of it and have never actually hit the low battery shut down point (4-5ml of juice). If I were to use nothing but 1.5 or 2 ohm duallies, though, I probably wouldn't make it through the whole day ;-)

I find it odd that you're not getting at least 12 hours from it unless you're running Dualies. But I guess some folks hit their PV like scuba gear...all day long.

Will do. Was planning on grabbing some 5ohm cartomizers next month for testing. We'll see how that goes. And yeah, it's still a new device. I have pretty much been breathing through the thing all day when I managed to wear it out. Oh, and I have never worn it out in 12 hours. I think 13 is the fastest. It works perfectly. I just never read anyone saying they got less than at least a full day out of it no matter what they did. It's really a non-issue; But I was wondering if I was alone with my experience.

Eh, I've pocketed them many times on the Darwin with no problems, I just don't sit on it afterward ;-) Seriously, though, I stocked up on some that had nice thick tubes and have yet to crack on me while in use (it probably helps that I tend to vape an XL size one dry in about two hours, so they don't stay "in use" for very long at a pop). Once they do eventually crack, usually while cleaning them, I have a bunch of syringe tubes already cut that I throw on them until the coil finally gives out.
There's also the "ultimate" versions which are fairly recent and have a much more durable plastic for the tube. Oh, and not to forget the metal tubed ones, though I don't use those because I'm kinda fond of the look of the clearos and the ability to see my juice level

BTW Panky and Rob I must be odd man out since I bang about 8-10ml's a day of 12mg/ml DIY stuff. Most days are 17-18 hours long and I can vape in my office. Yes I can also deplete a Darwin batt in a day using 2.7 ohm cartos too.

Siouxsie (and the Banshees?) Darwin is not a true passthrough. You're still using the battery, just with the benefit of not having to disassemble it while charging, and you can still vape. Traditionally a passthrough means you don't need a battery at all. With the possibility of 12 watts, you would certainly need a couple of amps to vape that live. With Darwin you are always using the battery, the charger is just charging it in the background while you vape from the battery.

A few new Darwinistas ran their battery all the way down, then complained that "the passthrough doesn't work". If it does get run all the way down, give it a 15-20 minute head start on the charger first, then vape on. It's kind of like a trickle charger, you are vaping while the battery is charging, hopefully your vaping duty cycle isn't enough to drain it faster than it charges. Unless you are Ski, in which case you *may* need a 2A charger.

I have to admit, I was a little torn. There are so many beautiful mods out there that I've never tried... The Provari, GLV3, GGTS, LavaTube, I had to soul search a little. I kept thinking that the Darwin would continue to be my "daily driver" but I may get a different one just so I could have a feeder or something. In the end, though, I decided that I can't even think about getting those other mods until I have at least two Darwins. I just like that simple, hassle free operation, and it's so comfortable to use.

Will give the clearos another chance I remember that I enjoyed them all the way down to 4,some watts. Where have you seen them in metal? The only ones I've come across in metal are those Giantomizers for the Ego (Which do fit remarkably well on Darwin) but I have never been able to get good taste from them.

Yeah, I was actually really curious about those slim cartomizer tanks. I saw one posted earlier in this thread that seemed to fit with just a 510-510 extender, but I've not been able to find one slim enough for that anywhere. (Post #10134)

Anyone know who sells those?

Personally I like cartos just fine on it(Always have a few spares in my pocket), but the constant topping off to avoid burning is a pain....

Hey all,

I was curious about compatibility of the Bulli with the Darwin, and well just the Bulli in general. I'm not sure where you can purchase it, or what all the different versions are A1, A2, A2-t, A2-tm....it is all very confusing.

If someone could give me a once over on it, and whether it is something to look into for use with the Darwin. Id be much obliged.
