Yes I really do! I just sold another mod to buy it but dang it is so hard to spend that money:confused:

Pickle yes it is a lot of $$$. But for many (me included) this Mod is worth it. I have a Vari also and many other fine MOD's, but the Darwin is the only MOD I have multiple units of.

Alright, I jumped! I had to after reading most of this thread today and seeing how many love this thing. I love my provari but need something else. I tried bottom feeding but just sold that mod because it wasn't for me. Thanks everyone! I have placed my order! Happy Thanksgiving to me :toast:

Welcome to the clan and if you have read most of this thread you will see we are sort of lazy with names so we anoint you P5. Happy stalking and god speed to your soon to be new best pal. Get yourself some low nic and happy vapes

It always amazes me to hear of people vaping 3-5 ml a day. I only do about 1.5 ml a day and it feels like I'm breathing through the darn thing! I must be doing something wrong...
Ha Ha, there are a lot of heavy vapers out there, me included. I can go through 5ml in a day no problem. Of course my job involves a lot driving so I have plenty of time to vape.

Holy cow, Ski. What's your secret? Mine get plugged up and a dirty coil in a week or so, and all the cleaning tips i've tried so far have had marginal results at best. I have yet to try an ultrasonic cleaner, though.

I use gorilla juice as my main vape and it's a bit tough on attys but once mine start to go downhill at all, I toss them in the ultrasonic with some PGA and let it sit before I even turn it on. After a few hours of soaking, I will run it through at least 3 cycles depending on how old/dirty the atty is. After that, I let them dry out for a few hours and all is well. I don't even bother dry burning and it seems to do the trick :D I would suggest trying it but make sure the cleaner is powerful enough.

I do nothing with my Atty's but keep mine wet and use them and run them like a locomotive, pitch em in a coffee can when they start to go down hill. when I hit about 50 in the Maxwell house coffee can I pour PGA in the can, give em a swish once a day for 3 days. pour it out on day 4,Bake em in oven for 20 min then let em sit for another day, then prime em with PG. However I never seem to get to use the old ones again, its crazy, I'm spoiled when it comes to them and seem to always want a new one when the time comes. Plus having about 20 PV's running all at once and rotating them with a different flavor in each helps mine last forever it seems. :2cool:

The charge cord that comes with the Darwin is fine and the post is correct about the slight dimming of the green light. I have used the very first Evolv/Darwin charger, that came with my preproduction prototype Darwin, every day since I received it last December and it still works fine.

A couple of months ago, someone posted a link to this product: Dynex™ - Dual USB Universal Wall Charger - DX-UAC22 It has 2 ports and a charge light for each. As Darwin has smart-charge circuitry, it stops drawing current when the charge cycle is complete. The lights on this charger turn red while current is flowing (Darwin charging) and turns green when the current stops flowing (Darwin charge cycle complete). It works wonderfully. Because the battery gauge on Darwin is not perfectly scaled (hangs at full for several hours of use), you similarly cannot be 100% certain the charge cycle is 100% complete by just looking at the battery gauge. Using this charger leaves no questions or uncertainties. And, having 2 ports, you can charge 2 Darwins or a Darwin and a cell phone, etc. I still use my original Darwin charger AND this Dynex. Then again, when you have a back-up for your back-up you NEED 3 charging ports!

Here is another one to consider: USB Charger & Wall Tap Combo Pack at Menards
I think it's a pretty good deal, you not only get the USB charger, but there are 3 outlets as well, and also is included a 6-Outlet Wall Tap with Safety Covers. I don't think the USB charging part is the 2 amp that the Dynex unit is, but the word is the Darwin will only pull 650 milliamp max anyhow. It also has a light that glows red when charging and will go out when the charging is done, but that's a single light for both USB plugs, if memory serves.
If you don't have a Menard's in the area, they do ship as well.

You don't need a trippy tip to have a trippy Darwin!
