@ Ed you can see the wattage number on the blue screen although it is faint. It does need to be back lit to see everything clearly then all numbers pop right out.

Does anyone know when the first batch of blue screens came out? The Darwin I have was ordered 10/13 and I bought it from someone here a week or so ago. Never saw the original Darwin screen and mine looks kinda blue gray. Just curious what the difference is from the original screen.
I'll gladly trade my white screen for a blue screen

Okay......just got home and I have a NIC BUZZ
I got one with the Blue screen and it's amazing when it's firing\activating but I noticed you can't really see the settings to adjust, unless you are either firing\activating it or you hold it up to bright light. Is this everyone else's experience with these new blue screens? It's no biggie but just want to make sure this is normal vs. mine being different than the others.

I also thought all new Darwins came with a built in or an added 510 extender (so no more accidental cross-threading with the brass), mine didn't, again no biggie as I luckily had a shorty sealed adapter but just wanted to see if this is a sporadic thing where some come with it and some don't or if I was just the special one?
I DIDN'T GET ONE (where do you get a shorty sealed adapter?)
Last thing, when I look at the front side (the one with the screen) it looks a little rough. Now I had one before and noticed some minor scratches and whatnot but when I look at this one it almost looks like it was tumbled in a dryer with small rocks, I know weird analogy right? From a distance you can't see anything since it's black and I know due to it being custom it is going to have small minor scratches and superficial marks but this is a little more and the front is where I see most of them, but it's like that all around. Again not complaining as it works fine but just wanted to see if everyone else's Darwins were like this or if it was just me. I would post a pic but my phone camera isn't the best in resolution on closeup pictures.

510 to 510 Extender
I think the inclusion of the pre-installed and threadlocked extenders was only on one or two batches. Mine didn't come with one back when I bought it, either, but I've used one for all but the first couple weeks that I had my Darwin. I actually just replaced it today since the threads in it were starting to feel a little sloppy, almost cross-threaded a carto in it the other day. I definitely got my money's worth out of that adapter, it's been on there since June, so figured it was about time

They are nice! Now I want a blue screen... I can't buy any more toys till after xmas... will have to sell the kids toys now.

Thank you, Panky. I'm getting over my jealousy of the new fancy screen and reallizing that if I buy it they will come out w/ an upgrade the following week. Have to sit this one out. Waiting for some hot Darwin colors to order. I will have a 2nd some day - can't imagine vaping w/o it now - am totally spoiled by this and wouldn't be satisfied w/ something lesser.
Sax, congratulations! I've had mine several days now and am still in awe. It truly is the BEST vape ever. Now I've just got to pimp my darwin w/ some good attys and cartos. Figure I'll see if anything is on sale anywhere this weekend and stock up.

Just got my new blue screen Darwin. Man it vapes so much better than the old one! I didn't think it could get any better!

Thanks.......Vaping is so great, my Wife never smoked and all of the fights we ever had was about me smoking. I am sure some can relate. It's only been three months now but every day I wake up saying "I can do this"
