My charger is a Motorola Model #5102 -
Input 100-240V - 50/60Hz. 0.2A
Output 5.0V 550mA.

Can you guys tell me if this is the same as yours? The seller of my original Darwin is confident that this is the charger that came with but wanted to confirm before I charge tonight. I don't want to have a repeat of the problem I had before.

Thanks for any help you can offer.

Haven't seen the charger that came with my Darwin since about a month after getting it when I loaned it to my Ma for her phone, so can't say if that's the same one or not. But the one you listed should work fine.

Huff that is not the charger that comes with the Darwin. But it is fine to use with the Darwin and is a little more robust than the one issued in the Darwin package. In fact I have used my Motorola, HTC and others along with the computer USB to charge my Darwins. Rest easy and vape away. Happy to hear you have your darwin back in your hand!

Liv.. You are Awesome!! I owe you one for this.

All is good Huff. PM responded to and I am happy that one of us could help you. OK we may be a little wacky, perverted and play in the gutter a bit but we do watch out for our clan!!! Now we just have to work on KD who wanted all the Ladies BEHIND me while waiting for colored Darwins. I much prefer them in front and would expect our good friend Drew would place those Dawins on the ground so each would bend down to get it :). Happy Holidays to you and your family

Liv.. once again, you're the best!!!! There are such cool people here. Hope you all have a great weekend! I'm going to spend my weekend shopping to make up for all of the time I've been spending on the ECF not shopping.

Hey Huff if I did not do it I am sure someone else would have!!! So no big deal and the package is ready roll and sitting on the bar here in the man cave. It will go out tomorrow and since we are only one State away it should take the USPS less than a month to get it to you :)

Hey, I'm just popping my head in to the Darwin thread after a long time of being away to to give an update.

My Darwin is still performing 100% (I got one around 1 month after they came out if I remember correctly), I still haven't had any desire to look for another PV, and Darwin here has converted 2 other smokers to vaping. The downside to this is that the converts have been spoiled right off the bat and don't yet have the funds for a Darwin. One of them bought a gas station el cheapo KR-808 and was pretty stunned at the downgrade.

I've been incredibly busy lately and have strayed away from ECF more than I should have (my Darwin solved all my vaping worries... it changed my life, along with mastering DIY) but I've began to miss the community dearly.

Is there any word on a Darwin II down the road? I would love to get a second one as a backup (Maybe with a micro USB charger to match my cell phone) even still, my adoration for this PV has not diminished at all. <3 you, Evolv.

No 'new' version but each production run seems to get minor changes and updates.

There is talk of Evolv releasing something called the "Kick" in the near future. It's a variable power drop in disc for unregulated 18650 mods. Take any unregulated 18650 mod and use an 18500 battery instead, then pop the Kick on top. You get Darwin like Variable power.
